On a college campus?

Wow.

When Nader came to my school there were a lot of Pro-Kerry Nader protestors.

Arizona State was leaning left a bit, maybe 55/45. Just a guess though.

Overall turnout was definately high though.

I've met a few of those sort; oddly they didn't bother to vote.

It is atypical from the average universities which are considered bastions for liberal thought.
This is very true, though for whatever reason there is a good sized liberal-ish crowd in the band. However, I didn't know any real Kerry supporters; it was all the ABB crowd as it's being called now.

The county housing my university.

There were celebrations in the hallway as Bush's electoral vote count was climbing. What do you think?

CMU seemed to largely be supporting the Democrats, even after Kerry came and forced the entire campus to listen to Bon Jovi. OTOH, I don't get out much.

Ha! You're in Tampa. I'm in fucking Lakeland. The cows outnumber the people, and the orange trees outnumber both combined. The campus probably went 80/20 for Bush.

The only departments I know of that went for Kerry were Theater, Economics, and Religion (although religion was only about 70/30 for Kerry). Our professors were about 80/20 for Kerry, even those registered Republican.

The students at my college mobilized hugely in support of John Kerry.

Our campus has a conservative rap, but most of the professors and a vast majority of the student body are liberal.

Orange County and Palm Beach County

I love seeing that Orange County managed to have a Dem majority in the midst of Republican Shutouts...

And Palm Beach seems to really, really hate Bush...[/url]
