I think you're saying that he'd thrash about on the operating table, aside from asking how he's going to do that when he had his spinal cord severed, without using the force (which the manacles don't have) can't they sedate him, or does Palpatine like live-operations done on his apprentices?Lord Revan wrote:Sith lord or not if during paching of Anakin back some resemblemse of a human people and/or droid woudn't him a all so it woud be easier (or maybe even possible) to operate on him (it not just the pain).

Actually, Luke did seem to have his wrist strapped into something. But that's mostly besides the point. I just don't see what's the big deal.NecronLord wrote:Yeah. The thing is, they attached Luke's new hand without such things... Would it be so out of it to assume that Star Wars has good anastetics?

There's a series of Visa ads on TV right now that end with the line "He's got his Visa. He's got his [x]. He's ready."Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Pardon?Master of Ossus wrote:They've got their Visa. They've got their Vader suit. They're ready.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:So they got the lighting perfect. That's not the perfect giveaway for CGI. I'm with VT on this. They have a physical table and a complete Vader suit, so it doesn't make sense that they'd do a shot like that with CG, wasting their time, when they can just spend part of a shooting day filming it in real life.
For example, a rabid football fan buys a football to prepare for the game, so "He's got his Visa. He's got his football. He's ready for the game."

Seriously folks, trailers are SUPPOSED to be awesome and cool. Remember TPM? Those trialers were cream your pants worthy and the movie was run and scream bad. AOTC trailers were awesome too and it was OK. Let's not go crowining this film with laueres based on something that is designed to only show the best parts of the movie. If AOTC trailer had doses of the Anakin Padme romance we would not be as excited about it would we?Lord Pounder wrote:maybe he was strapped to the table to hold togeather what little was left of him? Either what who gives a fuck that looks awsome, if this trailer anything to go by i'd say the prequals have been redeemed.

Perhaps, but what about everything else that's been heard and reported about the film. All that seems to indicate that the film will indeed be killer.

The reason I'm nitpicking is because I expect absoloute perfection from this film. Nothing but another Empire Strikes Back will make up for all the recent damage Lucasfilm have done to the franchise. I don't even consider buying their books anymore after the NJO.

I saw the 'Forbidden Love'-trailer before FOTR, and I loathed it.Stravo wrote:Seriously folks, trailers are SUPPOSED to be awesome and cool. Remember TPM? Good thing AOTC turned out alright despite it.
And to be fair, the buzz before TPM and AOTC were filled with dread for the CGI, kiddy fare, cheezy love story.
What has ROTS got to worry about? Some phony fart-story from TFN? Give me a break, this one´s all about battles and people getting mauled by lightsabres.
TPM also had awesome word of mouth as did AOTC. These things are carefully controlled right up until release to maximize the positive buzz. I normally wouldn't be such a stick in the mud about this but GL has burned me TWICE on awesome trailers that did not deliver in the final form of the movie.Spanky The Dolphin wrote:Perhaps, but what about everything else that's been heard and reported about the film. NOw a Peter Jackson trailer for Kong that was awesome would be acceptable by me because of his track record.

Yes. And guess what. They, Esp Ep I had a lacking visual style, kiddie stuff, and a love story that out cheeses the entirity of France.VT-16 wrote: And to be fair, the buzz before TPM and AOTC were filled with dread for the CGI, kiddy fare, cheezy love story.
So was Clones. And no, I don't visit TFN.

Did they? All I can remember was the hype for Ep. I, but that was mostly because the 16 year-wait.TPM also had awesome word of mouth as did AOTC.
The love story had alot of people worried, and, granted, it wasn´t the best, but it never made or broke the movie for me.
LAAT´s however... Should have called them 1@@7 instead. Now THAT´S a love story, right there.

I'm sorry, but even with Christopher Lee, AotC was really only middling, and has the shit kicked out of it by RotJ, the weakest of the original trilogy.
