Yoda is just too green. His skin is a bit less vibrant it shows in the trailer... I hope somebody noticed that.

Yeah, Anakin grabbing Obi-Wan by the throat. That fight is going to be awesome.

Unfortunate. Not only is it unrealistic but it does not pan well with ROTJ and esp. the novelisation.Connor MacLeod wrote:Probably to capture that "Master and Commander" feel.
LFL decided that the "Republic" blaster color would be blue awhile ago - apparently the DC-15s were just the beginning (yes - I know, the LAAT/i's fire green, but then again, the AT-TE's also fired blue). In the Clone Wars comics by DHC, the Delta-7 Aethersprite's and the Acclamator's guns fire blue beams.Connor MacLeod wrote:3.) VEnators are firing blue bolts, not green. What the fuck?
The clarity and lack of interaction would imply to me low-orbit. I didn't think they were atmospheric. Why do you think so?Connor MacLeod wrote:Also, isnt it a bad idea to be firing beam weapons in an atmosphere?
Yeah its silly that they can cram all this junk into such a tiny spaceframe.Connor MacLeod wrote:5.) That bloody new Jedi STarfighter is fucking tiny. I estimate based on the head in the cockpit its no more than 5-6 meters in width, and most of that is just thin wings! That other fighter.. the Clone trooper one I think.. is a bit larger.. but its still far smaller than an X-wing.
Really? All the (presumably) Invisible Hand's beams and the Venator-class's too seemed to hit home.Connor MacLeod wrote:6.) I think that in some shots the capital ships are missing at less than a hundred meters distance. :/

Is there any reason why Anakin's eyes were red? They started blue, blue when he died, why this change?

Nah...they had a completely different look then lighting they are distinctly red outside with a yellow interior. I'm guessing it's to signify his change to Sith, given that so far everyone but Tyrannus has some funky eye coloring.phongn wrote:Might just be the lighting.Gandalf wrote:Is there any reason why Anakin's eyes were red? It also may be a vision experienced by someone as well and not what he truly looks like.

It could be a subjective element. I've heard elsewhere that it might be an effect added only to the teaser trailer, and may not actually appear in the final film.
I believe in a sign of Zeta.

You can't hotlink it because it's a bitmap file, silly. Next time save it as a JPEG if it's a picture or a GIF if it's text.Gandalf wrote:Here is my cap of it, I can't seem to hotlink it.

Things like that are going to hurt the movie.Praxis wrote:That was awesome.
But was I the only one who noticed the Fireman ship spraying 'water' (or any sort of fire-retardant liquid) on the burning capship?

It is against the rules. That's the entire point of this exercise. Unless you want to get Lord MJ and possibly Mike's asses sued off for having links to pirated material on their server and site, respectively.Praxis wrote:If it's not against the rules...

Showing a fire department putting out a fire on the capital ship that Anakin, Palpatine and Obi-Wan are trapped inside of, is going to hurt the movie? Please explain.StormtrooperOfDeath wrote:Things like that are going to hurt the movie.Praxis wrote:That was awesome.

No, wait. I think I explained enough.
Nothing so far suggests this is optimal range of firing. The separatists just got unlucky and were caught trying to escape the planet.Unfortunate. Not only is it unrealistic but it does not pan well with ROTJ and esp. the novelisation.
Hey, if the TIE fighters did it, the elite Jedi TIEs should be able to fit even more stuff in on a small frame (for a bigger price-tag of course).Yeah its silly that they can cram all this junk into such a tiny spaceframe.
Telling people where to find an image file on a web server is sue-worthy? Geez.Rogue 9 wrote:It is against the rules. That's the entire point of this exercise.
