The always-helpful Star Wars Technical Commentaries states that:

This implies that he is still capable of chewing and consuming food in the ordinary fashion. Although he sat at a banquet table in Cloud City in The Empire Strikes back and he held a drink on one occasion in the Death Star conference room in the novelisation of A New Hope it is unknown whether he has any mechanism which will allow him to eat while masked. It seems most likely that he only takes nourishment while unmasked in the privacy and safety of his medical chamber. We can assume that his chambers also provide facilities to deal with the other end of his alimentary process.

And now, as Plympto pointed out, the only question is just how the food gets to him...

And now, as Plympto pointed out, the only question is just how the food gets to him...

A dumb waiter perhaps? There are many ways including a cook or normal waiter bring the food to the chamber before he seals it to get out of the suit. Of course I wouldn't want to be the man to have to serve him something that doesn't taste good!

As likely as not, nutrition is just one of the functions of his overall life support system. He probably just plugs a tube into a socket in his quarters once a day.

Let's face it, Vader just wanted an excuse to carve up the Sunday roast with his lightsaber. Probably wouldnt even have to cook it before hand.
