Who would win in battle? Voyager or Enterprise?

E-D has superior combat capability over the Intredpid. Even with its warpcore problem, that is primarily to do with the shields going down. The E-D ought to be able to defeat Voyager before that happens.

Voyager all the way.
The Enterprise will never be able to beat it. You just can't beat the mystical Reset Buttonof Doom the Voyager is equipped with. Even if there's ons bit of the ship left, it'll come back and back and back...

Neither they would blast each other ,both warp cores would go up and the reset buttons on both ships would cancel each other out therefore everybody wins

Janeway and Picard would get into a long drawn out debate about the morality of starfleet vessels fighting each other and what that means to be human and eventually the audience will either fall into a narcoleptic coma or the Borg will assimliate them just to get them to shut the fuck up.

How can you fight against the ship with unlimited shuttles? even if they only have really poor feeble weapons on those shuttles, after they pump out a thousand or so the enterprise dies

Re: ummm....
Well, if we were to take this to mean GCS versus Intrepid (we'll kill Picard and Janeway to minimize the effects of character shields.) then the GCS would comfortably assfuck the Intrepid. The GCS has good weapons coverage, and the Intrepid isn't agile enough to avoid it's fire, in spite of the Intrepid's smaller size.chris45036_1 wrote:The Next Generation one. the one with Picard on it.

The outcome of this duel rides on which Voyager is picked... The Enterprise might be a Galaxy class, but later on in the series, Voyager got powerful enough to take out Borg craft with only a few hits (This is before the Endgame Episode). Ahh, the wonders of Seven of Nine's and that other Borg's modifications...

On the other hand, if we're talking about the NX-01...

I've posted similar analyses in the past, but here's my rundown of the battle:
Data: "Captain, I'm reading a hostile Intrepid-class ship entering the area. They are attempting to hail us."
Picard: "On screen."
Janeway: "This is Captain Janeway of the Voyager. We've been ordered by weird, perverse freaks from some discussion board to kill you. Janeway out."
Picard: "What? I'm afraid there's been some mis-" [Janeway severs communication]
Data: "Captain, they've raised their shields and are powering up phasors."
Picard: "Shields up! Fire a full spread of torpedoes on my mark!"
----------------
Chakotay: "Captain, they're firing torpedoes at us!"
Janeway: "Take evasive action! Lock on to their bridge and fire all phasors!"
[The torpedoes hit the Voyager and cause explosions throughout the ship. All the extras on the bridge are flung out of their seats and die. Small fires start randomly in the bridge and main power is lost.]
Janeway[Slightly wounded]: "Fire!"
[The Voyager, despite the fact that its lacking a bridge crew, fires all available phasors at the Enterprise's bridge.]
-----------------------------
Worf: "Captain! They're firing!"
[The phasors hit the Enterprise in the bridge. All the extras are flung out of their seats and die. Small fires start randomly in the bridge and main power is lost.]
Picard[Slightly wounded]: "Data, plot a course for the nearest Starfleet outpost. Maximum warp!"
Data[Slightly damaged]: "Aye, sir. Warping now."
[The Enterprise accelerates to warp speed and disappears in a flash of light. The ending section of the theme is played.]
---------------------------
Tuvok: "Captain, they've retreated."
Janeway "Excellent. Now we can get back to finding a way home."
Tuvok: "Um, Captain... we can get home. The Enterprise just warped home, logically, we can too."
Janeway: "No, we can't! That would end the whole show, you idiot!"
Tuvok: "Captain, this is highly illogical-"
[He is cutoff as Janeway kills him with a phasor.]
Janeway: "Now, let's keep searching."
[The Voyager float by in space and the ending credits roll.]

Here's a matchup which would leave no doubt
This was a little satire piece I wrote for another website some years ago, in reaction to Voyager's first season —and it seems apropos to revive it for this little discussion:
The Missing Scene from Star Trek: The Motion Picture
The Enterprise tumbled helplessly down the wormhole. A mishap caused by their new warp engines. It was not a good omen as they embarked on their mission to face the cloud-intruder which was rapidly approaching Earth. Mentally, Kirk kicked himself. Scotty had been right; they had needed more tests on the engines, but there had simply been no time. Now, a strange object headed towards them, also caught in the wormhole. The image was blurry, but it looked...
It looked like... a giant plastic spoon with warp nacelles attatched to it. It also seemed to have numbers on it: NCC-74656. But that had to be a mirage. Whatever it was, they were going to slam into it like bugs on a car winshield.
“Tiimee...tooo...im-m-pacttt...” Kirk’s voice slurred in the waves of time distortion caused by the wormhole effect.
“Twenntyy...secondsss,” struggled Ilia.
“Rrready...phasserz.”
Decker looked up sharply. “Nooo... Beelaayy thattt phaazrr orderrr...”
What was this? Kirk thought. Decker countermanding his command. And at a terminal moment? He watched as Decker moved sluggishly towards the tactical station where Chekov sat in muddled confusion.
“Arrmm...photon torpeedozzz...”
Chekov, not comprehending events around him fully but trusting that Decker knew what he was talking about, keyed in the photorp controls.
“Torrpedozzz...arrmmed. Lockingggg...on...tarrrget.” The object swam into the view of Chekov’s targeting scope. Impact was now down to five seconds.
“Fire!”
Chekov tapped the trigger stud. “Torpeedo...awayyy!”
The photon torpedo blasted away from the Enterprise at warp velocity towards the oncoming threat.
“Mr. Paris, sensor readings!” shrilled Capt. Janeway in her Katherine Hepburn voice.
“The object ahead has released something... which appears to be a photon torpedo. Headed straight for us!”
“You mean, it fired at us? Why? We’ve shown no hostility.”
Paris suddenly felt strange but carried on. “I don’t know why, captain, but torpedo is heading straight and true. Ten seconds to impact.”
“Evasive manoeuvers, Mr. Paris. Let’s see if we can avoid having to employ weapons.”
Paris was now clearly struggling at the helm controls. “It...it’s no use, captain. The helm isn’t answering to control, I don’t have any ideas and I can’t act worth a damn... and...arrgh! I’m... Feeling... Strange—”
Before Janeway’s astonished eyes, Tom Paris mutated into a giant catfish and slithered away from the helm.
“Mr. Chakotay, take the helm and see if you can do anything.”
Chakotay rose but then squat down on the deck, where he proceeded to unroll a cloth with a medicine-wheel design printed on it and began placing coloured stones. “I’ll see if I can contact the animal spirit of the torpedo and persuade it not to hit the ship.”
Janeway fought back a tear. It seemed that nobody aboard the ship knew how to follow orders anymore. She turned to B’ellana. “Lt. Torres, can you beam into the torpedo and reprogramme its guidance system?”
But Torres, her nose buried in a Harlequin romance novel, only barely acknowledged her captain. “In a minute. I’m on to this chapter where the heroine’s about to send her lover to the gas chamber...”
Janeway sounded red alert. But none of the crew responded to the call; they were all lined up outside the holodeck waiting for their chance to try the new and immensely popular “Kill Neelix” holoprogramme which had recently been added. Fighting desperation, Janeway for some reason called sickbay and got the Emergency Medical Holographic Programme on-line.
“I’m sorry,” it replied. “But Kes has begun to eat bugs again and since most of my personality was deleted ten episodes ago I can’t act at all.”
So much for that. Janeway turned to the people behind her. “Ensign Kim, I need you to vary the phase harmonics on the main deflectors and nutate shield frequencies until we find the right one to match its tetryon pulse signature which will override the on-board guidance matrix to alter the torpedo’s course.
But Ensign Kim was beyond all hearing. The mind-probe from the space prison burned into his brain. His eyes gleamed psychotically as he repeatedly beat his console into electronic junk with a length of pipe. “No, you can’t have his shoes!” he raged like a maniac.
Her hopes then gravitated towards the stalwart Mr. Tuvok. Her advisor, her confidant, her best friend in the whole wide world. “Mr. Tuvok, it appears we have no choice. Arm phasers and prepare to fire.”
But Tuvok stared rigidly ahead, his pupils little pinpoints. Too many mindmelds in too short a time, and Neelix’s voice echoed endlessly in his skull. And all his mind-disciplines couldn’t erase the flashbacks of a non-existent little girl falling from a cliff. The Vulcan curled up into a little ball behind his console and began sucking his thumb. “Mommy, make the bad man go awayyy...” he whimpered pathetically.
So this was it. The end. All her efforts to command by empathy and see her children, as she referred to the Voyager crew, home were coming to bleak failure. Katheryn Janeway couldn’t figure it out. She had done everything by the book. The book she now desperately clutched to her bosom. The book titled Mosaic.
It occurred to her that the torpedo should have destroyed them by now; it sure felt as if more than ten seconds had passed. The readout said two. The time seemed to just creep by, with the same agonising pace as a snail leaving its slime trail. But then, that’s the way it always felt aboard the ship. Funny that she had never noticed it before now.
Janeway sunk back into her command couch, holding the book close; the last thing in this life she had to clutch onto. Silently, she let the tears flow down her face.
But then, she suddenly brightened. There was one last thing she could do. When all else failed. The self-destruct was handy.
Too late. The torpedo struck the bow of Voyager, and the ship disappeared in a flash of matter/antimatter annihilation.
The torpedo blast blossomed forth on the Enterprise’s main viewscreen. The strange object was completely vapourised, and the blast collapsed the wormhole. The Enterprise was back in normal space, on impulse power. The crew stood down from red alert.
Kirk ordered repairs to begin at once. He wanted the ship ready to meet the threat headed towards Earth.
Neither he nor any of the rest of the crew would ever suspect that they had just disposed of a far greater menace than that represented by the cloud-intruder, and that they had saved the future they would never see from a slow, lingering death. Nor would they ever suspect, due to one of those bizarre coincidences which are characteristic of the universe, that the threat they had just destroyed bore the same name as the threat awaiting them in two days.

The Enterprise-D was one of the UFP's heaviest battleships when it served, while the Intrepid-class is a mere small scout ship.
The Voyager, on the other hand, has all those gizmos the crew have fitted to it and an crew who actually have used a warp core ejection system with success!!!
However, why not make it a technobabble contest between the ships' chief engineers??
