Bah. Stupid debugger. Closed my email window WITH the email to SBollinger. I was 7/8 done...now I have to start from scratch. Grr. But i will be posting it here, OT, HoS, BOTM, ATJ, and AIIF. Just for good measure. That way, everyone will be able to see it, and it will get comments (hopefully) everywhere, and not a flood of them in one place. I will be addressing certain persons' bans, censorship, terms of service and aliases, and the Debate. If you would like to be included in this email, please state your reason (aside form Vympel and Alyrium Denryle) and SN over at Creationweb.org. If you have something that you think should be added, let me know now. So far I have three points on banning, two on censorship, one on the terms of service, and one on the Debate.

Here it is so far, but I will need everything I can possibly get to make this what I want it to be. I need usernames (for both here and there), and as many posts as you can find. A cleaned up archive would be nice. PLEASE DON'T PM ME. I have limited space in that box, and I don't want it filled up with almost complete CW stuff. I do use it for other things. If you could post personal information, and if you have URLs, that's nice too. I need as much as I can get. But anyways, the email (as far as I have written up) covers only two of eight points (so far) and is 7K. Its a long email, and I already have to edit it to include NecronLord, who is among the Newly Banned. Hopefully, I'll have this done by the end of the week. Right now, I'm kinda burnt out on it, so I don't really want to continue too much farther tonight. But enough stalling on my part, the email:

Dear Mr. Bollinger:

You may know me as verilon and/or jairyn over at creationweb.org. First, I have a question: why was I banned as jairyn? There is nothing in the terms of service explicitly stating that no one is allowed to create multiple aliases. I will include the full terms of service later in this email. Per your own statement, I would be given a formal warning and then a prompt banning. I was not given a warning before my ban as verilon, if I remember correctly, and was given neither a warning nor a notification of ban as jairyn. This shows to me an abuse of power. As I am a college student, it is obviously pointless to IP ban me, because I can create countless email accounts that I will never except use for the sole purpose of invading your board, which I do not intend to do. Second, I ask that you lift the ban off of one or both, as you had no reason to ban either, or at least take off the IP ban. Second, I question the banning of others, and myself such as Alyrium Denryle, Vymer, neoolong, and Frank Hipper. It seems that Alyrium was banned for no reason other than his sexual orientation.

1. To be free from discrimination based on sexual orientation.
What this means is that we would like to be treated fairly. We would like to be secure in employment and free from possible termination of our jobs because our boss is a homophobic bigot. It just so happens that religion is also protected by anti-discrimination laws. you choose your religion, I do not choose my sexual orientation. If anything I am more entightled to such protections than you are.

2. To be able to love and be intimate with the person of my choice without the threat of imprisonment. Did you know that In the state of i daho i can be imprisoned for life, for no other reason than being intimate with my boyfriend? In Idaho I am viewed as more of a public menace than a first degree murderer.

3. To be protected from harassment and hate crimes by law.
Without laws to protect me my school would not be willing or even be able to protect me from harassment based on my sexual orientation. Someone could beat my black and blue and the school would not be able to do anything but suspend the person for three days. I find it ironic that religion is protected under anti-discrimination laws as well.

The same arguments you are using now where used to deny the same rights of African Americans, women, and all the other minorities in this country. And yet i a homosexual am still living in fear. There is something terribly wrong with that picture."

Now if this isn't abuse of power by ONE OF YOUR OWN moderators, I don't know what is.

Vymer, as I personally know, was banned for two reasons: first, he appealed a locked thread without consulting you through email or Private Message. Nowhere is this stated in the terms of agreement as necessary. Second, he was making a point against you. I was the one that also appealed this, twice over. Admittedly, as verilon, I spammed your board for this, and did deserve the banning. However, you cannot base your ban of jairyn simply because of the fact that I was also verilon. I acted within the rules of the board, and did not use abusive or harsh language in any way, as either personality. As far as I knew, I was being polite, and tried to remain on-topic in my debates. As well, neoolong began to question banning of several people. This was before you made a certain post about PMing you or emailing you in regards to such. He, in effect, was banned ex post facto, meaning that he made his complaint prior to your post, and is therefore in the clear of your "punishment." Ex post facto is, in case you didn't know, where a law (or statement of law) is passed (or posted) banning a crime (or a post made questioning your judgment and power when it was still allowed) and punishing it (or banning the poster) after the crime (the post) has already been committed (posted and commented upon). Furthermore, I would like to quote you:

"You haven't been around long enough to have a vested interest in anything about this board. One must assume you are here to stir up trouble."

What do you mean by "One must assume"? One does not have to assume anything, nor does one have the right to assume anything. Also, to quote neoolong's response:

"I have been reading the board long enough to notice which threads have been deleted and to have been able to communicate with the members mentioned that have been banned...If the mods responsible are justified, then why not show how the banned members violated the user agreement, the one that is posted when people register. As it is posted during registration, it is public policy. I don't want control of the board nor do I wish to make unfair demands. I simply wish to know the rules governing the board and the nature of the posts that are allowed. Furthermore, I wish to know the ban policy so that I know what is allowed and what isn't."

This is why I raise question to your ex post facto post. All these posts have been deleted, of course. If you would like copies of them, I will be glad to include them in any replying email I may receive and send back. As far as Frank Hipper, I have not closely followed his threads, but he has given me some context to work with. This, again, goes along with the bias against homosexuality that seems to be present and precedent.

You don't argue with people like that to convince them. There is no point; they are unapologetically beyond reason. You argue with them so you can preserve their stupidity for future generations to laugh at.

Verilon, I was arbitrarily banned for no reason, as none of my posts had the slightest bit of profanity or hostility implied in them. Not only was I banned but my SIG was vandalized by the mods (I presume Bollinger) who libelously identified me as "an intolerant, bigoted troll", which I found offensive as I had done nothing intolerant or bigoted. I actually suspect that I was banned mostly for defending the rights of others (ie Alyrium) and possibly for being Jewish.

Also, there is the hypocrisy in Bollinger's stance that anyone with a complaint about a Mod's actions or policies should be taken up with the Mod in quesion via private e-mail; however he did not adhere to this in his attempt to attack Mike Wong and SDnet. He has no right to hang us from this yardarm if he himself has no intention of adhering to it himself. He has lost any credibility he might have had.

I was banned (without the warning) for calling SBollinger a coward. He's mistaken this for an insult or trash-talking, so he banned me. I did not mean it as an insult. It was merely an astute observation that any neutral observer could verify.
