When you can actually show that the problems with voting and tallying actually changed the outcome of an election.
So it's only voter fraud if it works?

I guess it would be voter fraud as soon as intent is shown, but seriously unless something comes of it then it's not that big of a deal--it's something to correct for next time, but not an immediate concern.

Isnt this the company that caused all that fuss with the leaked memos?

Yes, it is, Keevan. I don't know how the Republidrones here can deny that the company's software and practices need an independent, objective audit and the results need to be made public, preferably a big splash. All I see are excuses, and the only reason I can think of is that they don't mind because the outcome favors them. If it favored the DNC, on the other hand, we'd hear no end of bitching and whining from them.

And that, kids, is why Master of Ossus should never be let near a software project in his life.

The fact is, Diebold machines have a DEMONSTRATED flaw in them that makes them unsuitable for counting votes. This DEMONSTRATED flaw, as far as can be told at this point, did not change the outcome of the recent election. However, there is nothing preventing it from changing the outcome of another election -- major, minor, or inconsequential.

That is why the machines should NOT BE USED until this critical flaw is fixed.
