An hour ago CNN was saying he went from a coma to a deeper coma, and his chances of recovering were slim. Maybe it's for real this time, but it sounds just like the last time. :?

He's dead! He's not dead! He's dead! He's not dead! He's dead! He's not dead, I say! And I say he's dead! And I say he's not! When I say he's dead, I mean he's dead! *shoots comatose Arafat* He's still not dead. It's all evil Zionist imperialist propaganda! Oh, there are no Americans in Baghdad, too!

Have a very nice day.

It doesn't matter whether he's dead now or not. He's old and he has Parkinson's Disease. I'd bet if he's not dead yet, he's got six months tops. It's not as if he can do a damn thing at this point. Like the Pope, the guy is just a figurehead.
The gift of Superman is the same in his universe as ours. It's not about his powers, his costume, his persona, it's about the using the gifts he has to help people. We all have gifts too, maybe we can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, but maybe we're good with math, maybe we're charming. We can use our gifts -whatever they are- to help people. We just need to make that choice. And Superman shows us that it's possible.

Ok, just looked it up, he doesn't. I'd heard that he had it years ago from somewhere (some news magazine I think) and never bothered to verify that.

Just drive a stake through his heart, cram his cake hole with garlic, and decapitate him. That'll settle the bastard.

How about 24/12, that way it makes Christmas day that much more special.

Kim Il Sung didn't, unless you listen to those scandalous rumors about brains in jars and so on.

Arafat is way too cool to get killed. I'm sure the current secrecy is a cover for the affixation of his new Castro-type robot body.

I have that feeling that he's going to be deemed dead by this time next week, only to wake up 10 years later and reveal that he's still alive.

He was supposed to be dead last Thursday, but somehow he's resurrected himself numerous times and gone from being in a coma to being stable to being alive and kicking.

Oh geez, do you work for B&B? The grand cockroach conspiracy isn't supposed to come to light until the TNG era.

Fucking continuity shit all over again...
