Maybe, maybe not. If the nationwide popular vote was the only thing we looked at, then we could be objective about it and not even worry about Rep states and Dem states. But you know damn well the networks would still look at the state-level voting numbers just so they could stir up shit. American media + negativity = a match made in heaven.

Ironically, if this was the way we did things, we'd have been wondering whether or not to re-elect President Gore.

http ://mena.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/canada20.gif is a rather amusing photo as well. Let me put it this way: "Baja Canada."

It's sorta like the Jesusland one, but better :P .

Miniwillinois...cute. :)

I notice they only included the coastal parts of California. :? Rural Washington is a lot more rednecky than their California counterparts.

Austin is such a great city...the thought of it being the capital of the Fundie Empire...

That, or it'd still be in the courts because of the closeness of the count and the allegations of fraud on both sides.

Dennis Hastert might have been the temporary President until the case was settled.
"You say that it is your custom to burn widows. Very well. We also have a custom: when men burn a woman alive, we tie a rope around their necks and we hang them. Build your funeral pyre; beside it, my carpenters will build a gallows. You may follow your custom. And then we will follow ours."- General Sir Charles Napier
