"The Left will rise"

I don't know why, but I find that hilarious.

ANSWER?

Act Now to Stop War & End Racism. It seems like they didn't know how to end the acronym and somebody just added End Racism because they couldn't think of anything to add after W.

I hate those people. Not as bad as the third world Liberation Front (twLF), but still a bunch of assholes.

What these people don't realize is that with every rally and riot give Karl Rove and the GOP political machine more ammuniton. Next election they will successfully equate anyone left of center with those chuckleheads in the minds of just enough mainstream voters.

Keep it up morons, you do yourselves more harm than you can possibly realize.

Perhaps if we're lucky they'll all commit suicide to protest Bush's re-election.

Some of the middle-aged individuals I've met who go to these things are basically just reliving what they did with Vietnam and seriously haven't noticed anything that's happened in the past decades. I think it was the drugs. Scratch that - I know it was the drugs in some cases. Still is.

I suppose I'm mostly guessing with this, but it seems right: The younger individuals there are often indoctrinated children of these individuals or just random people looking for either a) something to do, b)an outlet for their uninformed frustrations, or c)a group of intelligent, likeminded (and similarly overly optimistic) individuals who wish to make a reasonable, coherent statement about their well-informed opinions. You won't find many of group c, and you can identify them in a crowd by the fact that they look to be alone and very disappointed. This is not be confused with those members of group a that were looking to get laid and haven't yet.

I love that guy's site. He does a pretty good job of capturing the craziness of the bay area. Too bad he only covers the political rallies.

To give you an idea what life is like in SF, my wife and I brought her young nephew out of the city to show him some sights. We were driving around when he yelled "dyke march!"
"Wha--?" I asked when I noticed a line of people waiting in front of an atm.
My nephew pointed and said "DYKE MARCH!" again. It turns out that this is how he learned to say "crowd." For about a year, he thought that any gathering of people in public was a "dyke march." And apparently he was accurate enough not to be corrected too often.

Which means more greatness from the Protest Warriors. Their ideology is too right-wing for me, but they've got a great modus operandi. 8)

The abortion one? Is perfectly clear. A little GBII coming out of a vagina can be considered proof enough that abortion, sometimes, can be a very good thing. At least that's their idea.
