It wasn't drawn. And I needed to save it as a jpg instead of a gif, so that I could sharpen it without havin to worry about file size too much.

Your older avatar is more distinctive. Whenever I see your new one I think it's just some newbie posting. Plus it looks like some silly biplane or a random bunch of blurry lines. Your old avatar at least looked like soemthing.
