Biker Gangs in Star Trek?
I'm not sure if this should be in the Fanfic forum or here, but I'm sure it'll be moved if I guessed wrong:
How would you feel if someone reintroduced bikers into Star Trek? I'm wondering this because I thought of a kickass vehicle:
Airrail: single-person suborbital vehicle, extremely light and fast, with inertial dampers and life-support but not much else.
And a couple of variants:
Warprail: Airrail equipped with a single low-speed warp driver assembly.
Warrail: Warprail equipped for combat w/ PPCs fore, strips on the flanks and shields. Still less than the length of a full-size sedan.

Ok... Tip over the Bike and Elimnate all Life in a City Block, thats still a problemI'm thinking something less powerful, which is why it would only have a limited range and low warp factors.

Well, they'd have feddie jammies on, but they'll be a little worn and threadbare. Also, they need to have a confederate flag patch sew on the back of the jammies. But then there is the entire communism thingin trek. Maybe they'll have slogans on their bikes? "Yay Capitalism!", or "Fear the Red Terror". Something to that effect.

Martok would be perfect
as there leader of the gang, he is a warrior, cares about there honor, can fight, and will proably die by an enemy bike caln so Worf would have to avenge his death. Anybody see West Side Story?

Come on... we're not talking biker gangs in Starfleet here, just in Trek. No, I'm thinking 24th Century Hell's Angels here -- something Picard would react to with scorn and Worf would react to with some stupid line like, "They must have Klingon blood!" Their response to this stupid, typical B&B dialogue being, "Okay -- we'll start with yours, motherfucker!"
