Screenshot request- AOTC- asteroid hit

Post by Vympel »

Has anyone else noticed the sequence when Jango fires the missile at Obi-Wan's Delta-7 Aethersprite? We see that the Delta-7 drops its spare parts canisters off just as it passes in between two asteroids, and the missile impacts somehwere in between them. We then cut to Jango's cockpit, and it shows a sequence of the explosion on his targeting scope, with asteroids clearly visible. When the explosion is over on the targeting scope .... there's no evidence of either of those two asteroids. IMO. Someone want to prove me right? Did that missile pulverize them both?

Since missiles are most likely more powerful than bolts, and the Slave 1 bolts cut apart asteroids, the missile should obliterate some of decent size.

How big are the asteroids in question? What distance from the missile were they when it went off?

Decent sized, and the explosion starts on the far end of them.
