Say, is that cyrillic text I see on the box in the middle?

And this means exactly what? That's right, nothing. The WMD claims prewar talked about TONS and tens or hundreds or thousands of TONS os biological and chemical weapons, and I'm getting fucking sick and tired of every discovery of a tiny stash of stuff that got overlooked when Iraq destroyed most of its WMD programs back in the early 1990s being hailed as proof of the WMD argument, which is exactly what the opening post looks like or at least implies.
Yes, there were 40 vials of Sarin, and it could be nasty if used against troops (assuming it was used correctly and was viable), but it does not alter the fact that every news item abou the supposed bio and chem weapons has been overspun, overhyped tripe.

Aum Shinrikyo had sarin. Should we go after them too? Really, this is heavily overblown. If this is a risk to the US, then the US has shit for defence. A mental patient and a shotgun would be more of a threat.

Has anyone claimed Bush was right because of this? Give it a rest.

I have come to expect vieled arguments from demonstrated Bush whores.

These look exactly like standart test tubes used to test for the presence of something in the air.
You break the glass at the narrow parts and pluck them into a special hand pump to pump a defined amount of surrounding air through them. The color of the active part is then supposed to change, indicating the result. I got a bunch of visually identical ones around, except for the red band. Mine have differently colored bands in different locations. I think it´s supposed to be some kind of code, but i never lerned what exactly it means.

Edi, be my guest reach what ever conclusion you want to about the opening post. However, You will notice that no argument is presented with the picture. For my part it is a picture of some nasty shit and it makes me worry about my friends over there.

The phrase 'fuck yeah' comes to mind. But the Japanese police already did a fairly good job of busting them up so it would be a rather pointles exercise.
"This cult of special forces is as sensible as to form a Royal Corps of Tree Climbers and say that no soldier who does not wear its green hat with a bunch of oak leaves stuck in it should be expected to climb a tree"

I think those might be testing kits... rather then sarin itself...
It startled him even more when just after he was awarded the Galactic Institute's Prize for Extreme Cleverness he got lynched by a rampaging mob of respectable physicists who had finally realized that the one thing they really couldn't stand was a smart ass. - The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. - Douglas Adams
Apparently, NPR is now confirming that these are indeed only test kits, as Sebastin and desertjedi say. The German text translates to "to handling see guidance" AKA "see instructions for use".

Thats a relief.
Although it does make you wonder WTF the nutjobs overthere are doing with Gas-Binary testing kits? I find it hard to believe that Akmed was lugging these things around just for the hell of it.

Well, stop a moment. Even we were all standing saying 'Look, Sarin!'. It sounds a bit like the story about A-Q trying to buy nukes from the Russian Mafia.
'Sure, bud. These are sarin gas. Look right there, says 'Sarin' on the label.'
