LOL! They had shuttles cramped in their turbolifts and even inside the warp nacelles!

Probably a few of the dead crewmen's quarters were also filled with shuttles.

Federation shuttles are clearly biships. It explains everything.

Voyager has so many because they simply BREED them. Unfortunately, so cut off from Federation space, the gene-pool is so shallow they were getting horribly inbred, leading to the rubbish designs seen in later seasons.

I always thought they used instant shuttlecraft capsules like the ones seen in DBZ. Pull the capsule out of a small box, toss it, and *FOOM*, instant shuttlecraft!

I think they lost 3 Delta Flyers. Two crashed and took enough damage that it would have had to have been completely rebuilt and the Borg blew at least one up. I don't know the episode names, sorry.
