Shouldn't this be in Artwork & Photos chief? If it's just pics I believe that's where it goes, even if there is a political slant to it. :)

Also, that looks like an accurized M14, not an M1 Garand.
Note what appears to be the semi/full auto selector switch on the right rear side of the reciever.

Is the Garand still in service in other countries? I know the Armed Forces of the Phil. still maintains it. IIRC, the US just left tons of them here after WW2.

Not to mention the scope is blocking the mag point of an M1.
