besides that's an empty threat of mine, there's no way a solitare can summon an avatar. you need a far seer and an aspect warrior for that....

Sure it was. There is no way a devotee of the Laughing God could manipulate anyone into any course of action.

So there are how many C'tan left? :)

There are currently five known surviving C'tan: the Nightbringer, the Deceiver, the Outsider, the Dragon, and the fifth, much more obscure "good C'tan", the Easter Bunny.

Btw, Necronloard, I forgot to mention this in my character description but he's actually the Easter Bunny in disguise. I hope that's fine with you. a joke, obviously. I'm not really the Easter Bunny.

I have got to say, I am really enjoying reading everybody's work. Our glorious leader started us out well and I think everyone's done a good job of contributing.

RAWR, HIPPO-ETHERICAL SCENE-RHINO...

Err. I mean, New NPC.

Techpriest Usanctori

A junior member of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Techpriest Usanctori has enjoyed more support in recent years, as the views that earned him censure in the past are quickly growing among the magi of Adraxis.

Usanctori is a tall figure, typically swathed in the red robes of his order, and boasting four mechadendrites, as well as several implanted devices, not least a pair of needle pistols in each hand, and a sophisticated auspex for an eye.

Incidentally, Raul and Pater are now in what amounts to a maze with big huge bricks being dropped on them.

Sorry, did I say I wasn't a sadist before? I lied.

Well, to be quite fair, Raul shouldn't be having much trouble - precog is handy that way. However, being the generous person that I am, I've handed you a plot hook - something's screwing with it and reducing it's effectiveness. Do with it what you will.

I know the actions I take right now aren't the smartest, but I decided to involve myself in the plot as directly as I could. I might get lucky and nab the techpriest even.

Well. Part of the conspiracy is slanted to let people play alien characters. All will be revealed in the end on that score. Let's just say if the avertage imperials are 110% xenophobic, these guys are 98% xenophobic. It's kinda the same reason the guy didn't come out with some machine-spirits explanation for the network of terminals...

Mwhaha.

That xenophobia is why I'm already planning backup characters incase this bunch bites it since they are as likely to be shot by the "good guys" as the bad guys

BTW, Necronlord, have the crates stopped falling?

I'm off to bed, to sleep, perchance to not feel like shit tomorrow. NL, you have my chars until I return or the situation calms down, whichever comes first. Don't kill anyone, except maybe a Kroot. If you do the others will go batshit, though.

OOps, sorta sorry. It wasn't a good idea to come here and read dakka chain stories at the same time. But given that it is too late to take the post back.
So Remiel, angel of awakening, and member of the Adeptus Custodes. The Pratorian guard of the emperor and generally the biggest bad asses in the imperium. When an imperial servant is in most dire need, or one of you Xenos really needs to get you ass kicked, I will be there. Otherwise, I will try to watch and guide, as the emperor wills.
NecronLord, I am at your service to be a deus ex machina if a character you want to save gets in a tight spot. Otherwise I will probably not do all that much but be really mysterious.

Yup, like I said, sorry. It was supposed to be chain story, not RP.
SO I am gonna drop out now. Just adding some shadow and mystery, and then fading away.
