Ah crap, I knew it looked familiar. He looks so not intimidating without his eyes being covered in shadow.

Speaking of... Why does it say that Sidious is 1.78 metres tall, and Palpatine, 1.73.

Does he wear heels as Sidious or something?

Sidetracking to Grevious for a moment, I would like to post a theory that just hit me about the General's identity.

We know, despite the eyes, that it's not Darth Maul; Lucas has confirmed that (and besides, a fall like that, after being bisected, isn't something you just walk away from) .

However, in pouring over the confirmed ROTS facts, I found something most interesting. Lucas has confirmed that we will meet the Jedi that ordered the Clonetroopers, Sifo Dyas.

Could it be possible that Grevious is in fact Dyas, corrupted by Sidious just as Dooku was?

I suppose it's possible, and he in truth could be Darth Grievous, because let's be honest- Grievous sounds so Sith it's not funny.

However, it's not likely, IMO, since we have no idea what the hell Sifo-Dyas ever looked like, do we?

From what I recall, we never know or find out who Grievous is/was. He's just General Grievous.

Pablo Hidaglo has stated multiple times on his Hyperspace Q & A thread that General Grievous is exactly that. General Grievous. He's not Sifo-Dyas, Darth Maul, Anakin's father, the first Sith, or anything else.

This is a new pic that surfaced this morning, it's probably right after Yoda reviews the footage of Anakin killing all the Jedi in the temple.

I agree; the smoke and burn marks do suggest that.

A poster under the name "Spoilerriffic" gave it to the guys at MF.com to post. This is the same guy who released the Dooku vs. Anakin pic.

So is it real or not? What's the general and educated consensus over at MF?

Spanky, I usually consider you a level-headed person on this board (or maybe it´s just because we share similiar views alot :P) but I´m surprised you even consider the possibility that a fan could do a hoax on this scale. Seriously.

And, yes, the consensus is that it is a real still from the film. The cgi is noticable all over the scene, but it is far better than any fanfilm or photoshop I´ve ever seen.

Yoda looking over his shoulder like that doesn´t correspond to any other official image, either.

Through the door does look like the Jedi Temple ... don't know what that room is supposed to be though.

It´s a surveillance-room. You see it as concept art on the Ep. III game-doc. Apparently, Yoda and Obi-Wan watch Anakin´s personal snuff-video on the big screen there.

Perhaps the room in the background is a hangar, and Yoda is in some control room? That way it could be from the scene where Yoda flees to Dagobah.

I see. Just call me rather paranoid, or at least very cautious. I've seen people do incredible things, so I felt that I had to ask.

Those pix were grand. Nice to see "finished" CGI on them, especially the tank (looked like more real, tangible metal).

Is that an R4 with a dome head? I thought the R4s were established as being the ones with the conical heads. Or does it necessarily matter?

That could be the droid anakin rebuild with R2 dome (Obi-wan's Delta-7 droid in AOTC)

Again I have to wonder if that thing in the ROTS trailer really is Darth Sidious. He's wearing a brown cloak, and there's a picture of a control room on sw.com where a brown cloaked figure is standing in a control room with his back to the camera. The cloak looks like its tattered and in generally bad shape.

Yup, it is Sidious. They made the shadows on him look even darker in the trailer with CGI (especially the face).

This is the latest image that spoilerrific has released. General Grievous' flagship can be seen to the left (just above the Trade Federation battleship).
