If a person is really uninterested you're not going to be able to change that. And continually obsessing over her is just going to make it all the worse. As you've just said your feelings are getting stronger while her opinion has not changed.

Find someone else. The only alternative quite frankly is progressively worse misery.

He's not stupid, he's young and in love. I remember when I was in HS, there was this one girl who I liked for four years! Course, I never actually got a date with her, but I think I'm better for the experience. Eventually I was faced with a choice. I could go to Amherst to be with her (she was going to the all-girl school there), or Pomona and get (IMO) a better education. I went to Pomona and I never for a moment regretted it.

hey seems to me what you should do is maybe date around a bit get a good rep for being a good boyfriend...you could maybe even date one of her friends then as her friend talks to her you will get a good rep try poetry it's worked for me in the past...it sounds to me the problem is you are coming on to strongly...if you back off a lil and date others the word might get around you are good dating material then try your luck again...if that doesn't work out than you could try and find other ways to convince her that she should love you back

You're in HS right? My suggestion is to walk into the counsilor's office tomorrow morning and tell her you really need to talk to her. Then talk. It doesn't matter if you miss class or what, because she'll give you a pass. You really need to talk to someone for real, and school counsilors are bound by the same confidentiality that most professionals are, except if someone is in danger. Talking about your feelings to another human being, especially someone who's willing to listen, is the first step. Part of the problem may be that you seem to be keeping all your emotions bottled up, which is very unhealthy.
Trust me on this, I wouldn't have survived HS without Diane Corbett, god bless her soul.

Ach, I thought that was implied. Him being a friend means that he lays off the trying to get into her pants routine. It may happen, but it should happen because she wants him, not that he tried to manipulate her.
