Feh, I thought you were going to shoot at me. Anyways, who wants to try and come up with a force chart to ask NecronLord to think about supply for the operation?Imperial Overlord wrote:Sorry Tasoth, but I am going to have to pick on you using Prius.

Not point. A hive world's resources and our character's authority makes that kind of irrelevant. All sorts of NPCs will handle the little details. No need to make Our Sovreign Lord sweat the minutea.

You are welcome to travel with Gix, although Severa is a little protective of the inquisitor (although you've probably noticed that by now, if I've done my job correctly).
Don't you IG types have some heavy weapons?

Incidently, how do you think I am doing with the RPing of my warband (I love input and rarely get enough when I'm GMing). For the record, I really like what I am reading from everybody else.

So, exactly how many separate transports do we have heading for the surface now?

I try. It is a little frustrating when I RP normally.
Me: So what did you think of the session? Good? Bad? Is there something I am doing that you think I could be doing better or that you think I am doing really well.
Players: No. Its good. Everything is good.
Me: Details. Specifics.
Player: It is all good.
Me: Aaaargh.
It's not always that bad. I know I am pretty good, but constructive criticism is so useful.
And as I said, I like what I am hearing from everyone else. Your characters are holding my interest. Time will help you flesh them out.

My inquisitor's name BTW is Jolan Gix (no r).
As for Chapel as he is from the "Grammaton" Shrine, pistols would seem to be the logical choice. Two bolt pistols and a power sword plus some additional goodies would be what I would expect. No armor (forcefield armor at the most), relying on speed, stealth, gun katas, and surprise.
What's the deal with the cloak (I don't know the story)? And what kind of body shield? I can probably help you pin the type of shield down.

I don't know details on the Cloak, beyond that it *Pulls out "For the Emperor"*
As to the shield, I just want an average shield that protects against projectiles and las-fire. The sort of stuff you'd expect an Adeptus Mechanicus to have.
Needless to say, it's not available at your local Munitorum. She was swathed in a hooded cloak of the deepest black I'd ever seen, which seemed to swallow the light that fell on it, blurring her outline. I saw her flinch as a las-bolt scorched the material, but she kept coming...

A physical shield, or an energy one? For the latter, it might be a Refractor shield (the only type that I know of that made it from the second edition to the third as wargear); for the former, a Storm shield might be in order, although those are only useful if you know where an attack is coming from.
Speaking of which, Raul might want to procure one of those himself; precog is very nice when to blocking incoming fire.
Captain Tycho: would your shuttle be still down on the surface, or heading back to the station?

Refractor field is the most likely, if you are speaking of an energy shield. It is the most common (which is to say it is rare) and gives fairly good protection.
Conversion fields are even rarer, but more powerful. Displacer fields (which I am sure you are not refering to) are the rarest of them all and they work by displacing you through the warp away from incoming unpleasantness.
