Spiralled to 600 pages in one day. verilon seems to be holding his own, but the thread fluctuates rapidly . . . Go over and grab some popcorn before it combusts.

That's the wrong way to tickle Mary, that's the wrong way to kiss!
Don't you know that, over here lad, they like it best like this!
Hooray, pour les français! Farewell, Angleterre!
We didn't know how to tickle Mary, but we learnt how, over there!

Also, the main combatants are all registered at SD, so there's a slim chance they might decide to continue here when the thread goes boom (and it WILL go boom, I assure you).

Besides Vendetta and Yslew-whatever, there weren't that many bigots in that thread...

"Evolution keeps bumping upward to new levels of creativity and surprise. We're her latest gizmos, her latest toys. Our mission, should we choose to accept it, is to throw ourselves with all our might and mane into what the universe will do with us or without us--creating new forms, new flows, new ways of being, new ways of seeing." -- Howard Bloom

Vendetta plainly said his opposition was based on grounds other than religion. That leaves two others who posted based on religion, of which one was polite and responded to other posts. Only Bryan came in to speak his mind and pop out again.Stormbringer wrote:Yup, it's rotten with religous bigots.
Sure doesn't seem to fit your description at all.
Brilliant deduction. Should I judge SD.net based on Darkstar, Raycav, and Shep?salm wrote:more proof that there are too many idiots on SB.comverilon wrote:BTW, what is everyone's thought on this? I think I'll go make another thread...

Lets see... 600 active to semi-active members at SB and the best you can come up with is THREE people, and not all of them are being bigots even.

Except that Darkstar and Raycav were banned, the idiots on SB were not. That's the difference.
data_link has resigned from the board after proving himself to be a relentless strawman-using asshole in this thread and being too much of a pussy to deal with the inevitable flames. Buh-bye.
So SB should start censoring people bassed on their views? So much for free speech. Not even Mike does that without people going WAY over the line consistantly.data_link wrote:Except that Darkstar and Raycav were banned, the idiots on SB were not. That's the difference.

Fine, you've got two religious bigots and some regular flavor bigots.ArthurDent wrote:Vendetta plainly said his opposition was based on grounds other than religion. I will not ever set post in that forum again. After the homosexuality thread, when I debatedm ES arkaje(sp) he was such a broken record of bigotry I left forever in frustration. Hyperion I am sure remembers that one well.
