New ST-V-SW Site!

Now the site's creator has posted this:

I've been thinking. Should we set up more VS forums, such as ST+SW vs Halo, or something like that? Not only would it provide a lot more options for debate, but it would give both sides a place to cool off and actually anylize something without wanting to rip each others heads off, and maybe even allow the two sides to agree on something.
Also, we may just take down the main site for now, since it is way to vague, it was merely meant to be a placeholder so we could get the forum up (warsies, please don't take this as a concession, since all I want is for us to be able to agree on something without wanting to kill eachother). So, what do you think?

Emphasis mine.

Dispite his disclaimer, that looks a hell of a lot like a concession to me. Unless of course, he refurbishes his articles by cutting and pasting from Dorkstar's site directly.

How many times will they be scattered to the winds, reformed from the ether, scattered once again, before they get it impressed in their thick, ignorant heads - that they're wrong? Their arguments were not more stunning now as they were the last time they set a forum up. Are they so conceited to think that they're making progress?

I can say with pride I was the first and only one kicked out and IP banned for pissing on Darkstar and his claims! Of course, getting around their IP ban was easy, but I never bothered making a sock.

You know, i'm almost convinced Narendra only put up the site in order to create chaos and give himself instant fame. I mean think about it: you don't have to do anything except write a handful of paragraphs, toss it onto the internet, add some forums and voila! Instant shitstorm.

The really clever thing though is that he basically didn't have to DO anything- debaters young and old arrived in droves, infamous personalities show up dragging their arguments with them. It was like a Trek vs Wars BYO.

I doubt they went to much trouble, i've seen better sites made with FrontPage and the "arguements" on the main site where laughably thought out. It was interesting to see Darkstar in action, i'd only ever heard the stories.

That was a very poor excuse for closing down the board (and the rather meager site). Canon issues was discussed, almost exclusively, in the thread Star Wars canon policy vs Trekkies, and didn't spill over much to the other threads. Any person that was a member on that board must have been able to see that. That board had some good results, a.o. Dorkstar couldn't defend his ludicrous arguments, and IMO Vympel, Meest and the rest of you made a really good job. I'm a poor debater, so I'm glad to see that some of you was so effective.
