The best Cast of characters in Star Trek

Besides the TOS crew, who are always number 1 in my book which series had the best most likeable characters. I Liked the DS9 crew, I think character wise it was the best written of the TNG era. There was a closeness in that cast that is really clear. TNG and Voy never was able to do that at all. They both were only successful with making a closeness with two characters.

I thought that the characters of TNG were the most interesting, but that the DS9 crew was more likeable.

DS9. TNG was okay, and Voyager, well, with the exception of the doctor, I wanted to hack them to pieces with a chainsaw.

I liked the TOS crew best. The only 2 characters from DS9 that I liked were Dr. Bashir and Chief O'Brien. Odo and Quark were also interesting. TNG crew would have been more interesting with Welsey as an ensign and Dr. Pulaski as the CMO. Also, no civilians on the ship. Voyager just sucked.

DS9. They evolved more than any other trek crew. That alone puts them ahead of any other crew.

I haven't seen DS9. So from TNG and Voyager, I'd say TNG had a more interesting cast.

But all of them fall pitifully to the cast of the original series8)

I like DS9 simply coz they do away with most of the science crap and delt with bowing shit up. That and the fact that Sisko punched Q, a note worthy action. All in all DS9 is the best of modern Trek.

I liked Picard, Odo, Garak and some others.
The only character i did like in Voyager was the Doctor.

Sisko punched Q in an episode were Quark was gonna sell a Bjoran Orb. Q came in and was pissing odd Benny boy. Q zapped him to a boxing ring and Ben cloclek him. "You hit me, Jean-Luc never hit me" "I'm NOT PICARD" in a deep ugly growl. Classic moment.

I think TNG has the best crew. I'm too young to know the original crew very well, DS9 was so-so, Voyager was blegh, and Enterprise is, well, Enterprise.

Of the captains, I liked Picard the best. Kirk's speech patterns were too damned annoying. However, I think Odo owns Worf

EMH is great, too, and could kick Dr. Crusher's ass

Otherwise, TNG crew is the best, especially Riker
