*greetings human, I was able to get back here by focusing on a bit of gear carried by our mutual associate Nathan, I am returning with some more euipment. How should I get to you. Or can you project a "beacon" I can latch onto?*

Nathan grumbled from the seat he was stuck in but there were times even an Inquisitor could be overidden.Especially when a Madicae was involved.
"I`m sorry M`lord but you must rest for one more day so the potions and such have a chance to heal your wounds."
"I know citizen I know its just...frustrating is all"
"We`lll M`lord it is a deep puncture wound and they need to be carefully treated. now to see to Commisar Prius he seems to be even worse off temprementally than you are" The doctor walks off as Nathan sat on the bed.He pulled a book out and started reading it .
"Emperor grace a day????" Nathan sighed and strted to study more about this mellinium.

The medicea didn't notice the pile of books that had appeared in his absense, nor did he notice the medecae white form standing next to Nathan, pain and concentration streached accross the xeno's features.
*I can't get anything, the other humans, all I could hear were discordinate thoughts, violent mixed images, and pain, lots of pain.*
*If I had some thing to latch onto I could webwalk and be there shortly, unfortunatly, you have the only piece of gear I can use as an ancor point...*

*was trying that, all I can hear is the pain and surface images of the minds surrounding him, I can't reach him through the static, of the other minds. If I had a seer, this would not be a problem, by my talents as you know are somewhat limited*

"Commissar, please... healing takes time," the medicae pleaded.
"Time? Time is one luxury the enemies of the Emperor do not give us! You will work faster, damn you!" Prius tried to scoot up in the bed, and with a grunt he slid back down.
"Please, you will injure yourself further. You nearly died."
Prius slumped back in the bed. "The battle, how goes the battle?" he asked, eyes closed.
"They make progress. We don't get much news here, except what the wounded bring in."
"Progress... progress... make me able to walk, medicae, by tomorrow. I don't care what you have to do, you will find a way."
With that he slumped, his eyes screwing shut with the pain, teeth clenched.

Chapel had been trailing the assaulting formation, since the beseiged had declined to take the bait he represented, preparing to defend them against any attack materialising from behind. An attack materialising inside their formation was unanticipated, to say the least.
Voxing back to the stealthed drop pod on an encrypted Assassinorum frequency, he calmly announced "Situation Omega, unleash Knives"
Switching to the Imperial Guard command frequency, he rapidly barked "Override Zero One Kappa Eternus, clear a path between Coordinates Aleph five one-Indigo three nine and the main entrance now"
On board the drop pod, drugs coursed through the inert form of Knives, bringing him to wakefullness. A tactical display was immediately downloaded to his helmet screen, including Imperial assets absolutely not to be destroyed, and others that were classified under varying levels of acceptable colatteral damage. Anything not listed would show itself at its own peril.
With a nearly inaudible growl, Knives rose, grabbing his assault cannon as he stalked towards the door, impatiently shredding it with its claws when it didn't immediately remove itself from his path. Standing seven feet tall, and clad in some form of red bodysuit, he projected an aura of tangible menace as he glided down the rubble strewn street. Carefully following behind, Skorn shouldered his axe, and hustled down the road as fast as his legs could carry him.

Colonel Savon of the Borean Rifles took in the reports gravely.
"Two more, you say? We have no meltas left, and little other capacity to fight these things. We hold here and prepare to cover the retreat of the advance party."
Thank the Emperor that psychotic fanatic Ristani was bedridden. He would undoubtedly be driving them into the mouth of the hell itself, prayer book in hand.

The Iron Men worked with ruthless mechanical efficency, carefully coordinating their fire for maximum effect. Their first aim was maximum usage of shock effect, to break the coordination of their opponents in order to begin defeating them in detail. Moving in shimmering blurs, they struck with their weapons and their fists.
Iron Men. Vorus had believed they were a myth, and never dreamed of seeing even a record of one in action, much less a working model. And now here he was in front of their manufactorium. The techpriest glanced back, seeing his apprentice Foren Tysor limply holding his lasgun in one hand and his impassive servitor bodyguard. The unseen magos of this edifice never asked them to disarm. He could throw a big monkey wrench into the rebellion's works right here and now if he so desired.
The other techpriest (Xyng, was it?) spoke, asking ther question that was on everyone's mind at the moment. He turned to speak to her, resting one hand near his laspistol. "Pretty impressive. What do you make of it?"

Gun-Kata 17, random evasive movement, and pray for the Emperor's Grace.
Stealth would be useless against these monstrosities as soon as he opened fire, so Chapel activated his refractor field once more as he rose to fire on the two creations massacring the Guard. Full powered blasts of plasma fire rained down on one, as armor piercing bolter rounds sought out its weapon, tracking across it in a shower of sparks and metal.
The second thing tracked its weapon towards Chapel with literally inhuman quickness, as he continued to pour plama fire into his first target, ignoring the overheat warning buzzing steadily louder. Carefully gauging the moment, he flung the pistol at the last second, ducking behind cover that was vaporising even as he moved. An instant later, the fatally overstressed gun exploded, washing over the mechanical menace. Chapel used this opportunity to lunge for a new firing position, hoping against hope that the energy released would at least blind the thing for a moment.

The lascannon was shattered on the first Iron Man's arm, and the explosion baffled its sensors for a moment. A nanosecond burst of communication with its cohort allowed them to reach a simultaneous conclusion- the assassin was the greatest threat that had manifested from this group. While the other laid down covering fire, the first used telemetry from its companion to aim itself in a high-speed lunge for Chapel's new position...

Kruger's question was answered by a loud thump as the launcher discharged toward one of the Iron Men. It had been well-aimed, but that wasn't enough; the things moved with inhuman speed, and the shot missed by a good five metres, flying off into the distance and slagging one of the few buildings left standing after the bombardment. As the two Guardsmen frantically sought to reload it, Adivan slammed a clip of Kraken rounds into his boltgun and opened fire on the closest of the abominations. They struck home with uncanny accuracy, the thing's attempt at dodging having carried it directly into the firing line, and Adivan noted that the Iron Man's carapace had cracked.
As the Inquisitor's clip ran dry, he heard the Guardsmen slam another Melta-Missile into the launch tube, and hefted it onto his shoulder again. The Iron Man he had shot seemed to have been distracted from it's assault on the Assassin, and now it was sprinting towards him faster than anything humanoid should move. Tossing his combiweapon to Kruger, Adivan took aim with the rocket launcher, whsipered a brief prayer to the Emperor, and fired.

"The bird let out a slow chicken cackle. It sounded like a chicken, but in her heart she knew it wasn't. In that instant, she completely understood the concept of a chicken that was not a chicken. This looked like a chicken, like most of the Mud People's chickens. But this was no chicken.

The Iron Man nearly managed to dodge the missile. Nearly. Instead of striking it dead on, the missile impacted into its shoulder assembly, destroying the shoulder mechanism entirely and throwing its high-speed assault off-balance.
A quick change of tactics was discussed and agreed upon over the communications link. The charging machine leapt into the air, passing over Adivan, it's foot clipping the rocket launcher with inhuman force, tearing it from his shoulder and damaging the weapon, before the machine darted into the cover of the rubble. The other Iron Man fired at the trooper carrying the ammunition for the launcher, detonating the remaining rocket he carried with him, before likewise moving to cover.

Heh, its good to be appreciated
As the Iron Man seemed to lazily move towards him, Chapel took a moment to reflect upon his options while unlimbering his power sword:
1. Gun-Kata 23: run like a bitch, and eliminate the witnesses later. Probable Result: Iron man shoves fist through back of my head. Mission Effectiveness: Poor
2. Gun-Kata 12: evade inital charge and saber dance with opponent. Probable result: Get tagged by absurd machine reflexes, and stomped on in the end. Mission Effectiveness: Poor, unless cannon fodder Guard can use opportunity to bring down targets, in which case marginal.
3. Gun-Kata 7: For the Emperor! Probable result: may take one with me. Mission Effectiveness: Acceptable
Waiting until the charging menace was too close to change course, Chapel rose and emptied the last of his bolt pistol's magazine into his impending doom, finishing with the special Vindicarre penetrator round between the things simulated eyes. Knowing that this wouldn't slow down the beast's momentum, he lunged forward, putting all of his strength into plunging the power sword into his best guess at a vital location.
As he saw the things fist penetrate his refractor field, he had time to ponder:Why the hell aren't Iron men tactics in the Grammaton curriculum?
Edit: Fuck, took too long typing, can we assume that I met the thing anyway?
Edit: Acceptable?

((Revise your post a bit to assume that the second one headed for Chapel as it was moving to cover, I'd say that would work fine.))
The power sword carved through the Iron Man's armor like a hot knife through butter, boring into it and damaging its gyrostabilizer. Its fist plunged through Chapel's shield and into his stomach, the shield slowing a killing blow and turning it into a merely rib-breaking one. The machine staggered back, power sword still lodged in it, arms waving as it tried to regain its sense of balance.
It messaged its brother unit, informing it of its loss of balance and likely imminent failure of function, as it prepared a self-destruct protocol and extended all sensor probes. It would feed its brother unit the maximum amount of data before it ceased function.

Adivan cursed as the rocket launcher was torn from his shoulder. A brief glance told him it was useless now anyway; the launch tube had been shredded beyond repair. Besides, he had no more ammunition for it. Crossing that from his mental list of options, he pulled his power sword, flicked it on, and then grabbed a pair of Krak grenades from his belt. A brief application of TK pulled the pins, and he hurled them after the Iron Man that had attacked him. Grabbing his combiweapon back from Kruger and slamming in another clip of Kraken rounds, he ran after his target, loosing a burst into the one Chapel had just impaled as he did so.

six ribs broken, four more freaking hurting, target still operational
Willing the pain away, and drawing his second bolt pistol, Chapel focussed on getting the best guess for the ballistic angles and force vectors involved, even as he knew deep inside that he was trusting the Emperor to guide his shot. Firing once, he targetted not the Iron Man, but the hilt of the sword lodged in it, hoping against hope to force it to disembowel his enemy once and for all.

Arbite Chiang-zhou was the first one to spot them. They poured out of the exhaust vent opposite the power substation, ever so quietly. Chiang poked his shotgun out of the substation's third floor window. He whispered into his vox set: "Gun servitors across the street, superior Judge!"
Xerxes was the second one to spot them. "Copy that, trooper Chiang. Squad, open fire on my mark." He hefted his shotgun, clicked the safety off, and pointed it at the nearest servitor. "Fire!" His command was drowned out mid-way by an overwhelming volley of shotgun blasts, wiping out over half of the servitors in a shower of gore and cybernetic parts. The remaining gun servitors turned their heavy boltes on the substation, unleashing a hellish volley. Xerxes slammed into the ground, bolter shells flying over his head and impacting against the far wall. "Fuck! Grenadiers, return fire!" Two dull whumps! followed his order, and the gun servitors fell silent.

The machine spun as the rounds struck the sword, Adivan's shots also punching into its frame. The sword was punched sideways, carving into its power cell...
The resulting explosion was powerful, blasting Iron Man bits every direction at high velocity, but it was nowhere near as powerful as the explosion that would have resulted from a deliberate overload.
Of the other Iron Man, nothing could be seen...

As the smoke parted, and the dust settled, the glow of a refractor field could be seen moving towards the Imperial troops. Soon, Chapel was visible, his face flashburned, eyebrows missing, and bleeding from a dozen minor cuts. He coughed up a little blood, and cast his voice to reach all of the troops in the immediate area "Get under cover, there are worse things coming. Fortunately, for once, its on your side."
Needing no encouragement, the troops begin avidly digging themselves in, tending as they can to the wounded in the process.
In the shadows, the other Iron Man began its self-repair protocols, the cracks in its armor sealing. Its weapon was a total loss, but there were plenty of discarded weapons laying around the battlefield for it to re-equip with. It mulled over the capabilities of its prime targets... the fast one with the force field, and the other that had used the rocket on it.

Gyllia replied nocomittaly. "It is indeed spectacular." She also sent a message via short-range, uninterceptable laser beam.
<Spectacular indeed, but also treasonous. Standard procedure; Inform Mars. Standard procedure has been ignored. Rebellion unacceptable, destabalise Imperium. I have friends out there. Before you think of shooting me, note my 2 combat servitors and 4 combat-skulls. End of line.>
Kruger felt like laughing as he was used as a weapons-stand by Adivan. The explosion and the Skitarii were less entertaining, however, so he pulled his hellgun out of it's holster and fired...
OOC: He dropped the Inferno pistol somewhere. Yes Petro, I'm a sucker for pain.
