Linux was trying my patience as a desktop OS. I already rented a linux web server, for all my web development needs, so having a Linux desktop was pointless now.
However, I really missed the Linux terminal. So I downloaded cygwin, so I could have the best of both worlds. I replaced the "Command Prompt" shortcut, to the Cygwin prompt. I plan to get SSH working with Cygwin soon.
It's really the best I can do until I have enough money to purchase and Mac with Mac OS X.
I abandoned Linux for Windows XP
