Not really that odd of a creative descision, if it survived to the final film, that is.

I think if it did survive, it would be part of the "opera" scene.

With designs proceeding like this, how long until we see a model catered towards that ultimate luxury - if one of the EU writers hasn't done it already?

By the way, was the guy with that electronic device stuck on his head (ESB-cloud city) a droid?

I really like this droid. Not for the fact that it's a female, but because there is something rather entrancing about it. I suppose it's the fact that it looks more human, more elegant, and less like the C3PO varients.

I do hope it is in the film.

I can very much see the influence of Hajime Sorayama in the piece of art. He also is well known for doing pictures of robots and things. One of his more well known pieces was used by Aerosmith for the cover of one of their albums (although which one it is escapes me right now.)

Just Push Play.

Not that I know anything about Aerosmith: I had to look it up.

Soon they will have a new female robot, who's simulated mammary glands secrete refreshing glasses of drug-laced milk to get people ready for a bit of the Ultra-Violence...

Personally, I like it, and also hope that the idea survives into the final film.

I think the best thing about it is that it's actually wearing a real dress, rather than being designed "nude" or have a dress motif incorporated into her body. It's a subtle but neat touch, as is the "garter belt" styling on her leg.

I agree with Mario that it appears to be very inspired by Sorayama's robot artwork. Some of those seams and detailings are almost dead-on.

At first, I didn't care much for this design (I mean those high heels suck), but now I think it's very suitable. I look forward to seeing it in the movie.

Gnifmak Dymurra was said to indulge his taste in artificially intelligent masturbation aids -- which, when considered rationally, is all that a sex 'droid is -- at the court of Moff Getelles in Planet of Twilight.

Makes me wonder if one of the writers from the early-seasons Man Show is a Wars buff - perhaps it was that which led to the rise of the Mouthbot?
