Actually we might just yet. Tycho, that staff of fire is, unless I'm greatly deceived, 10,000 gp above your gold limit all by itself.

As I said to Rogue on AIM, I do not have my DMG, and I cannot find the level-based gold limit in the 3.5 SRD. So your wacking me with rubber penises is unwarranted.

Well, Wild Mage gives additional spells known and spells per day as with a sorcerer, and a sorc gets /no/ bonuses as he levels, other than that, so there's really no reason to stay a pure sorcerer.

Wait, what? He only has to choose two prohibited schools (unless he's a diviner, then he only has to bar one). Specialization was reworked in 3.5. And unless I read that wrong, you just made him bar three schools.
