Either "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake or "Visions" from the Unbreakable soundtrack.

"The King's Highway" from Bubba Ho-Tep is my de facto driving theme however.

Hm, there's a couple of really good ones...

Iron Maiden - Flash of the Blade
Blind Guardian - Imaginations From The Other Side
Flash of the Blade wrote:As a young boy chasing dragons with your wooden sword so mighty,
You're St. George or you're David and you always killed the beast.
Times change very quickly,
and you had to grow up early,
A house in smoking ruins and the bodies at your feet.

CHORUS
You'll die as you lived
In a flash of the blade,
In a corner forgotten by no one.
You llived for the touch
For the feel of the steel
One man, and his honour.

The smell of resined leather
The steely iron mask
As you cut and thrust and parried at the fencing master's call.
He taught you all he knew
To fear no mortal man
and now you'll wreak your vengeance in the
Screams of evil men.

CHORUS
Imaginations From The Other Side wrote:Where are these silent faces
I took them all
they all went away
now you're alone
to turn out every light so deep in me
hold on, to late
Will I ever see them back again
or did they all die by my hand
or where they killed
by the old evil ghost
who had taken
the ocean
of all my dreams
which were worth to keep
deep inside my heart
I wish I
could get them back
from the everflow
before they'll fade away
Ref.:
Imaginations from the other side
far out of nowhere
it got back to my mind
Imaginations from the other side
far out of nowhere
it got back to my mind
out of the dark
back to the light
then I'll break down
the walls around my heart
Imaginations from the other side
Where's the ocean's daughter
was Peter Pan in Mordor
no one's there to keep alive
all these fairy tales
may I return to Oz
will I meet the "Tin Man"
"Coward Lion" where are you
without brain the scarecrow's lost
in the middle of the lake
stranded in the real world
left in a world
no place for daydreams
serious life
I fall into
I fall into a dark hole
and I can't come out
do you know if Merlin did exist
or Frodo wore the ring
did Corum kill the gods
or where's the wonderland
which young Alice had seen
or was it just a dream
I knew the answers
now they're lost for me
Ref.
(Solo)
I hope there is a way back
with my talisman
so I look into myself
to the days when I was just a child
come follow me to wonderland
and see the tale that never ends
don't fear the lion nor the witch
I can't come back
I'm lost but still I know
there is another world
Ref.
"Prodesse Non Nocere."
"It's all about popularity really, if your invisible friend that tells you to invade places is called Napoleon, you're a loony, if he's called Jesus then you're the president."
"I'd drive more people insane, but I'd have to double back and pick them up first..."

Well, one of the following:

Probably my favourite of the moment: Deicide - Scars of the Crucifix

Or the classics: Fear Factory - Edgecrusher

and fuck all that disagree, it's fucking ace AND you know it! Dimmu Borgir - Puritania.

But because I'm so crap at making choices, Deicide - Blame it on God and Crowbar - Counting Daze. :P

The fanfare at the start of We are Voroshilov's Red Cavalry would be very nice, though not the entire song.

Well, Back in Black now seems a bit cliche....

I'd say the Godfather Theme, Sympathy for the Devil, or The Ace of Spades.

Hmmm, the Peter Gunn Theme might be a good one. Bass and some brass. :D

Good idea.

The Imperial March, but I also can't say I'd mind the Benny Hill theme. :D
どうして?お前が夜に自身お触れるから。
Long ago in a distant land, I, Aku, the shape-shifting Master of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil,
but a foolish samurai warrior wielding a magic sword stepped forth to oppose me. Before the final blow
was struck, I tore open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is law! Now, the fool
seeks to return to the past, and undo the future that is Aku...

both the Throne Room theme from the end of ANH and the Imperial March make good canadates, but I would have to go with the Throne Room theme for my theme song.

Humm...

For all-around, I guess I'd go with Decedance of God (Breath of Fire II, trailing off at the end of the opening bit), Nature (Front Mission - Gun Hazard). or Four Noble Devils (Romancing SaGa III, which has an AWESOME build-up at the beginning).

As for mainstream pieces, I guess it'd be Peace Sells (Megadeth, 80s/GTA:VC version), the opening of Crazy Train (Ozzy Osbourne), or the last 15-20 seconds of Song 2 (Blur, starting right at the point Randy Glass used in Warthog Jump).

And just for cheese, once in a while I'll have the opening to The Lumberjack Song blazing in full as I make my way to the stage.

Do you guys remember the Imperial March extension in TIE Fighter? Played during the cutstenes of the "Emperor's Will" campaign (campaign #7, IIRC), when you received the medal from His Majesty himself for rescuing him from Admiral Zaarin? Yup, I guess *that* would fit for MY theme song

The first one that comes to mind as even remotely appropriate is the underwater theme from the original Super Mario Bros.

It should be noted that, though I never am, everyone I've befriended has at some point asked me what drug I'm on.

I forgot one of my all time favourites- "Blow Up The Outside World" by Soundgarden.

An honourable mention also to "The Day I Tried To Live".
