Best TV show theme songs.

Post by Perinquus »

Every now and again, they manage to write a particularly catchy song to run with the credits of a TV show. Some of my favorites, in no particular order, are:

The Rockford Files
The Equalizer
Barnaby Jones
Midnight Caller
Mission Impossible
The Persuaders (British)
Van der Valk (British)
Inspector Morse (British)
The Incredible Hulk (end credits music)
Law & Order

Anybody else got any favorites?

Battlestar Galactica (Both original and remake)
Andromeda (Season1 ONLY)
Star Trek: DS9
Band of Brothers (It was a miniseries)
Sopranos
Smallville (This theme song could not have been better for a series about Superman)
Hill Street Blues

These are just off the top of my head.
Wherever you go, there you are.

So many of my favorites have already been posted:
B5-S5
Haibane Renmei
Planetes(only if the opening sequence is included, the song itself isn't that wonderful but the opening scenes set the feeling of the show, it's similar to the theme/opening to Enterprise)
