Haha. The PsyKing's this guy's subordinate, man. He didn't even notice it.

Or, more accurately, I didn't notice it. :P

Okay, before I jump out and respond, do we consent to Gix picking up on Prius' possession? I'm envisioning all sorts of bad things happening to Prius as a result of this... muscle spasms, blood erupting from every orifice, all sorts of cool things, but I want to make sure we're on the same page.

Edit- Okay, cool, we're all on the same page.

Take a look at Inqisitor Kessel.

Trust me, blood out the ass is comparatively minor damage.

Nah. Prius needs to live for the PsyKing's evil plotTM to succeed, so he left pretty much voluntarily.

Yes, we can safely assume that blood fountained from his ass too, but I didn't feel that fit into the narrative flow so well...

Edit- *eyes above statement* Shit. Only in 40K does a line like that come off plausibly.

Now, the melta shot?

With power armour he might only have mangled bones, if he's lucky.

Yup, he made it. I was wondering how many characters with first and last names we were going to wax this day...

Inqisitorial power amour like this isn't nearly as dangerous as a marine in power armour. It also likely wanted the guy to live to know his folly.

*Fully expects aforementioned Iron Men to turn up just as Gix is about to die, by the power of plot device*

Guys, guys. You suck at putting the evidence together.

1) Torquen was originally killed with a Daemon Blade
2) All Twisted Path troopers have a scar on their armour, on the top, right side of their chest.
3) The PsyKing *told* Prius what to do! Of course, he's not in a position to act on his knowledge.

And, since he didn't tell us, we aren't really in a position to either...

Except there is a difference between what we know and what our character's know.

I do hope poor Prius doesn't get too badly cooked. He's done so well, it would be a damn shame to see him die just because he collapsed a bit too close to the enemy...

If you absolutely must cook him, be sure to roll him over and cook him evenly. That's a prime rule in the Imperial Guard, y'know, one of those unspoken things about the first person who gets eaten when the unit is stranded and cut off from supplies. Always cook your commissar well...
