There's also evidence in 'For the Emperor'. It has to do with their basic nature, probably because they seem essentially soulless, having no reflection in the warp.

Not to bust on the concept, mind you... a blank can come in very handy, and the whole discomfort thing works nicely as a storyline element.

I sorta said that.

I like the idea too, I just don't where YB got this notion from.

Oh.

Well, just chalk it up to my hardly paying attention to anything you say. :P

Anyway, let the freaking out commence with joy and vigor.

A trained and enhanced blank like a Culexus or a Necron Pariah will freak one out. Unless you're a pskyer, you'd not know an ordinary one. The thing about not being able to stand being in the same room doesn't apply. Bequin worked as a fucking prostitute before Eisenhorn found her for chrissakes.

What you really need to worry about is Mephet'ran and a few hundred necrons coming looking for her... :P

Eisenhorn only recognised that she was a blunt because she freaked him out, and later explained to her that her failiure in life could be put down to people finding her unselttleing.

Yeah, but Hereticus goes on at length about how she'd bounced from place to place as a total reject, due to her untouchable nature.

And trust me, attractiveness is not necessarily a prerequisite for being a profitable prostitute.

Okay, maybe freaking out or heebie-jeebie is too strong a term. YB is still incorrect in saying that nobody would notice that his char is a blunt.

And to psykers she would be pretty repulsive, so we're all justified in shunning her and not letting her join in any reindeer-type... er... inquisition-type games.

She can tag along, but she has to ride in the back of the car. And she gets to be the one who goes out to pick up food when we're on stakeouts and stuff.

Okay, and onto your other point.

HOLY FUCK!

NecronLord is bring the necron into the game?

Wait.

I feel incredibly stupid having typed that.

I was afraid of that.

Is there a chance that this will end happily?

When are we going to find out what this new Chapter of the Inquisition is called?

What are the Iron Men really up to?

TUNE IN THIS TIME NEXT WEEK TO FIND OUT!

Of course not.

Yes, but then we'll have to kill ourselves. Security, y'know.

And NL just caused my testicles to crawl up into my stomach. I must sleep and try to recover my courage now.

Oh, and I'll be expecting gratuitous torture of innocents waiting for me when I awaken.

Great, I see semantics were used to avoid dispensing the grisly torture.

Oh well, if I want to see suspected heretics burning I guess I'll just have to do it myself.

Much as I hate quoting the orks... "The Eldar break easy!"

Four land raiders, four squads of termies led by the company commander, the librarian, and a couple of apothecaries... eat it, ya xenos scum.

I'm here for the evening. Let's rock.
