Note for pcm: by the time those CSMs would have been able to actually fire rockets at those of my troops armed with plasma weapons, they'd be behind cover. And given that Cypher was able to kill one of Abaddon's Terminator bodyguards with a single shot from a plasma pistol, I'm rather dubious as to the effective of helmets in protecting against plasma guns (especially the souped-up versions that we have).

Don't forget that the thunderhawk is weapons hot, though, and the weapons arrays are manned by the marines, so anything that moves is in very bad shape. I'd say that around three quarters of the people in the room were cut down in the opening salvos.

By the way... just how heavily armed is a Ramillies-class Star Fort? Could it destroy the Strike Cruiser in a reasonable amount of time (i.e. before it landed), if we could actually alert the crew to what was happening?

That would be assuming that the strike cruiser will stay in weapons range once the thunderhawk is delivered, which I doubt.

Btw, one heads-up... the jamming is stationwide... there's no getting out of its range.

Well, getting out of weapons range would rather put paid to any possibility of it landing troops on the planet, so it doesn't really matter.

For everyone who's with Adivan at the moment: if there's any kind of small-arms you want (probably the Dark Age version; Adivan's been stocking up on them), just assume it's there. No heavy weapons, but lots of special ones.

Coolness. I'm going to remove Prius and Pater from the equation for the moment, so it'll be only active PCs and relevant NPCs.

I need an idea of what forces we have at hand... is Jaerdn's entire Huntsman regiment up here, or just some odds and ends? How many Arbites do we have hanging around?

Meltabombs apparently have no blast radius.
Unless it's fluffy meltabombs you're talking about...
