I think it's the famous 'cross-post' phenomenon striking again.

And what is it about poor Inqusitor Adivan that attracts so many sword-wielding lunatics?

Typhonus, I'm up at the command center. Tycho, you're killing them too easily. The armour is tougher in the fluff and there is only an assault squad not a "teaming mass". Each one you kill is a huge loss, but killing one is brutally difficult to do.

Mainly the fact that he's in Power Armour, an Inquisitor, and quite hard to kill. Mortragor, however, has to go and get his hair cut. Petro and IO once again get to fight over my glorious characters. :P

IO, I'll take Pater, and you can have Mortragor. Work for you?

Fine with me. Tycho if you edit down your kills and change some of them to "stuns and battered" it should work well. These guys are Black Legion. They are canny veterans, victors of countless conflicts. These are superhumans equiped in powered armour, one of the few pieces of technology that is superior to it Dark Age counterpart. Each one you kill is a great victory and you are facing less than ten if you count Gix's kill.

BTW our beloved leader NecronLord probably errs more towards SMs being tanks than I do, although we probably aren't very far apart. The word you want to keep in mind is demigod.

Precisely my point. This isn't a no-win scenario, folks, but it is meant to be a grinding challenge, skin of your teeth kind of deal.

My concept here is that if it weren't for the fact that we do have special defenses in place... the inquisitors, the arbites and stormtroopers, this bunch could have taken this station even if the naval armsmen were fully mobilized. They're that badass, in the fluff.

OK was trying to run Lillith as Bear designed her... Think Oasis from Sluggy Freelance nly equiped with a weapon that can pierce power armor.

Take your overwhelming losses, and just be glad that NL wouldn't let my Inquisitor have terminator armour.
(That'll be for my backup characters.)

That's cool, Typh, and against say Path troopers she'd be an unstoppable dervish of death. But these boys are a totally different level of magnitude. Give her decent odds on a one on one, but in a group, not so good. They work well in zero-g as well (the whole reason they had the grav disabled) and even if you do manage to surprise them, they recover very quickly.

They can be killed, but they're emphatically not cannon fodder. As IO has been emphasizing, every kill against these guys counts big.

Okay, now let's get a quick positional here... Prius and Pater are preparing to attempt attempt to organize a force in hydroponics... Adivan and Big Bad Sorceror Man are still fighting it out in the enginarium, Nathan I'm assuming is still in the machine shop, and Tycho's boys are working their way down to the enginarium...

Where is Gix exactly?

Gix is going towards the C in C, as previously stated. He ambushed the squad from behind, vicing them inbetween a powerful force rod armed telekinetic and Tycho's hardened Arbites.

IO: Given that the gravity's out, why would Mortragor fall through the deck? Are Terminator suits so stupendously heavy that they fall even in zero-g? ;)

Got it. And my hat is off to you for that positively SICK method of cooling down the armor.

Okay, that means Tycho is about to be engaging them whenever he feels like writing it up.

Remember that Lillith is a Soritas with a specialty weapon. She's wearing powered armour and close quarters fighting is her bag. She has a good chance of taking most of the traitors one on one.

Yeah, that's why I said decent odds one on one... it's just that jumping into a pack of them is rather hazardous to the health.

Hazardous is an exercise in understatement. Previous post edited. Same effect, different cause. Have fun with the remaining legionaires until the sorcerer comes back. TK is your friend.

What other legionaires? As I recall, they all withdrew.
