Finished product: the Fang

This is just a quick and dirty "enemy" fighter I did for use in a multimedia class project. I'm surprised that it only took me two days total to get it finished, including the UVW-wrapped textures.

The similarities to the TIE fighter are intentional, but oh well. It's basically something to get blown up. And yes, while I stole the TIE cockpit window from Jedi Knight II, I made all the rest of the textures myself.

Edit: I would have used a far cooler X-wing rendering, but the others I have are all far too large to fit the post format.

I'd kill to play a half decent SW fighter game that looked like that...

If you plan on doing anything with it, I think that lowering the wings a bit - say, putting the upper edge on the same level as the body's midline, or even slightly lower - will make it look really good. Also could give the pilot some side visibility.
