footnote: The "Secret" is revealed, she won't be doing anything uber, as basically untill she meets another like her, all she is is a blank with the side benefit, of healing, and Space Marine grade stength/endurance/speed. (oh and sterility)

Hmmm... the psychic hood sounds handy. Where could I get myself one of those? Ditto for the refractor field, although I'd be surprised if there wasn't one in the AdMech Temple armoury.Imperial Overlord wrote: Tacticus the equally rare psychic hood will boost your character's psychic abilities, including nullifying hostile powers. Your power armour will defend you from warp blasts just as it will from other attacks. Remember power armour is also stronger in the fluff. Attacks that will cook a human will just piss off people in power armour. /A slightly less rare refractor field will give you additional protection from energy attacks.

The boss and his bodyguards are not accounted for. I'm not going to start anything new with regards to them in case NL has something special or someone wants to get payback by chewing up Gix and his staff with them.

And, of course, there's that pesky gunship.Imperial Overlord wrote:The boss and his bodyguards are not accounted for. I'm not going to start anything new with regards to them in case NL has something special or someone wants to get payback by chewing up Gix and his staff with them.

The hood is very handy. Gix wants one himself. . It doesn't make you immune, just boosts your defenses. They are quite rare though. There is a good chance of the admech having a refractor field. With your own defenses and powered armour, shooting the enemy with the melta gun part of the combi weapon is a pretty good solution to most psyker problems.
Nothing your going to do is going to give you more than slight protection from the PsyKing, except to have Lillith standing next to you. Her blankness will really screw with his powers, possibly even protecting you completely.

I mean the commander who is also wearing Terminator armour and packing a Daemon Sword with the deflection power. He is high enough up the food chain to have that kind of gear. Of course, his daemon weapon or his chaos gifts could provide some protection. The Librarian didn't, but with Terminator Armour, chaos gifts, and his sorcery he wasn't much worried. You mean our friendly Chaos Librarium, or the company commander?

What a minute. What did I do to you to-Bring him the fuck on. Prius'll bite his nads off.
On second thought, good plan, let Gix handle him.
Oh yeah. I did all that. Sorry.

Not really related to the RP itself (more to Adivan's background): have there ever been rogue Imperial Assassins?

I don't doubt that Chaos would have it's own elite killers (no doubt demonically enhanced), I was asking specifically about Officio Assassinorum agents. Have any of them ever gone over to Chaos (or any other hostile group)?Pcm979 wrote:There are plenty of Chaos assassains.

Yes. Everyone can get corrupted by chaos and in Harlequin, the master of the Callidus shrine goes renegade (although not chaotic).GeneralTacticus wrote:Not really related to the RP itself (more to Adivan's background): have there ever been rogue Imperial Assassins?

You're welcome.
BTW, the Callidus master goes renegade because he fears that the form of life extension he's using will damage his memory. So he swipes a SM dreadnought for his own use and has himself wired into it. Naturally that means the honored hero inside goes the way of the dodo.
