Pupil charged with teacher rape

A 12-year-old boy has been charged with the rape of a teacher in County Durham, police have confirmed.

The woman claims she was raped by a boy while providing personal tuition. He is then alleged to have taken her car, later found abandoned in Gateshead.

12 years old... wtf

I have to wonder if she is a pacifist or something who refused to resist, because even with a size disparity, it wouldn't be that great, and most of the male musculature doesn't develop until later into puberty. This is bizarre in addition to really, really disturbing.

Seriously, though, I have a cousin who is almost 13 year old. His parents are not exceptionally large(dad is 6 feet, mother about 5'7) but he is huge- not fat huge, but husky, 5'11 huge(I'm 5'9 and he's taller than me by at least 2 inches).

She may have been afraid to defend herself-- striking a student, even if he is attacking her? Given the way US law works (ie, if a burglar breaks into you rhouse, slips, falls, hurts himself... he will sue you... and win) , she would have been the "bad guy".

Or she may have been in utter disbelief that this was happening...

Still, you'd think her "self-protection instincts" or whatnot would have kicked in eventually, especially once he actually started raping her.

Unless someone finds a picture contrary, I'm willing to bet that this kid was one of those boys that goes through early adolescence for some reason, and he was exceptionally large.

You know, it's worth noting that at this point it is only an alleged rape, based solely on the word of the accuser. What if she was a pedophile, had sex with him consensually, and then decided to charge him with rape when he stole her car? Especially since this accusation would implicitly exonerate her of the charge of statutory rape? Just pointing out a possibility.

Dude, when you were 12 you were stronger than women who don't fight. I know some slight, short women who fight like tigers; most women just react badly to fear and pain. I'll never understand the 'I got hit so I'll cry and bend over' response women seem to have, but it IS grimly amusing.

DWs suggestion is an interesting point. There's always another way to look at situations; and would it even be possible to determine what was happening, since it was just the two of them?
