You're only half right.

I give a fuck. That's enough. What can I say? I like cute.

I occasionally like smacking down people's misconceptions. You should be quite familiar with that by now.

Besides, these threads have a way of coming up whenever I join a board. This time, I decided to strike first.

Forgive me if it came off as being a little trollish, but I do like a good debate sometimes, and these threads definitely give me one. It seems that most people's useless hantred of Pokemon, combined with their misconception that because they're cute, they must be weak(forgot the Laws of Anime so quickly?), and their apparent upset when they find out how dangerous these little guys can be, leads to often more and greater attempts, which leads me to more and greater counters, and even occasionally to learn more about other Sci-Fi series'.

That would be their fault.

But I did provide a link to an online PokeDex(Using the PD information from the games), and in the same post, I reprinted the information in the post itself.

Oh, and I've done the Stromies(They were first), the Guard, and the Marines already.

Actually for that matter...screw all that I want someone to say what is going to stop a rampaging Tarrasque for Pokemon.

Seriously that thing is truly a machine of pure killing, and made to resist just about everything in D&D. Sorry convention fire, lightning...and other elemental won't hurt it...physical does so little...and Psionics do nothing.

BG2 may not be canon D&D(liberties and such) but Irenicus is basically a souped up Mage and Time Stop is outlandish in the right hands...think of that combined with a legion of those suckers.

Oh, barring that, Dieties and Demigods. There, you're done, game over.
You DO realize that Anime-style MewTwo is a Planetary-Level threat, right?

We're talking Turn-you-to-stone, Wordwide-Hurricane-Making, Time-Warping, Mindfucking, Move-a-fucking-lake-under-a-mountain, Create-a-clone-army, And-the-only-people-who-even-remember-even-if-you-died-and-came-back-in-the-process-are-the-ones-he-wants-to Threat.
Oh, and the Legendaries are essentially Deities and Demigods.
Either you've not read the Deities and Demigods supplement, or the Epic level supplement, or you're just trolling. Anime-Style Mewtwo vs. The Tarrasque is toast. Dieties & Demigods > the Tarrasque. An epic-Level Party in D&D would have a tough time against the Tarrasque, but they could take it down.

Mewtwo would be a threat, but not an insurmountable one. If he pissed off even a lesser diety, he'd be screwed.

I know what can truly hands-down defeat Pokemon:

Kansai Airport Inspectors!!

When I went over to Japan Summer '01, They picked up something metal in my carry-on, and made me look through it for any offending objects. This included my pocketknife (they sealed this in an envelope and sent it separately), a film tin holding 4 of my GB games (two being Pokemon, in case I got bored. Hey, you can't blame me for respecting a solid game design!), and a can of bugspray, which turned out to be the culprit, judging from our last bit of dialogue:

(Translated from Japanese)
Me: <hold on a second...> (removes metal airsol can)
Inspector: <what's this?> (picks up can)
Me (wondering what the word for 'bugspray' is a compound word or not): <Um, Bug...?>
Inspector: <'Bug'? Oh, I see.>

I got through fine from there. However, a day or two later, by the time I could serriously unpack, I realized that my film tin and its contents were nowhere to be found, and must've been left with Airport Inspection in the confusion.

Needless to say, considering that Stormtroopers are far better armed and have higher authority than airline security, Pokemon don't stand a chance. See you in the Lost 'N' Found. :P
By His Word...
