Some form of 40K RP- here and now

To be fair, I also glossed over the fact that the marine in question was standing around going 'Duuuuuuuh' 'cause Nathan had just blasted him with a psy attack. When Prius went head to head with a fully cognizant CSM, he got reduced to one quarter of a commissar.
Gork and Mork! Great names! Wish I'd thought of them myself.

Hethor will still show up in Memoria, he just won't be the star. Poor Anjun Chou is next.

Cool.
Nah, it's not editing so much as I was originally envisioning a more straightforward scenario when my subconscious started screaming "This needs a twist! This needs a twist!"
To which my conscious mind replied "Okay, what do you suggest?"
To which my subconscious said "My work here is done. By the way, you really shouldn't abuse your conscience so."
To which my conscious mind said "That reminds me, have you see that feeble little prick today? It's time for his daily beating."
After which my subconscious sighed and signed off.

I should clarify. The edit button is your friend if you need to change something early on to be compatible with your plot twist.
I like your mutiny/possession/mind control thing.

I may have to hold off until later before I continue it. Usually I do my best plot work as I'm trying to get to sleep.
So what's on the agenda for tonight? I'm figuring Typh will eventually show up to continue the conversation with Prius, and basically we have time to do some downtime scenes with the entourages and so on.

I noticed. And for the record, I agree that Jason Bourne would kick Jack Bower's ass. I mean, what chance does he have against a guy who can take out Clive Owen?

And John McClane would pwn them both, though Bourne would of course kick the ever living crap out of him.
Back a few years ago some friends of mine were doing vs. scenarios, and we indentified four invincible characters... McClane was one, and Michael Garibaldi was another. I can't remember the other two, and I can't even remember the rationale for Garibaldi's invincibility, unfortunately.
Though I do know his scenario was Garibaldi vs. Tyr Anasazi, with Tyr going on the dodge in that classic 'Survival comes first' Nietzchean routine, and Garibaldi manages to track him down...
Because he's Michael Freaking Garibaldi.
Maybe it's just his resemblance to Bruce Willis, I dunno.
Anyway, let the evil commence. We could also have some downtime encounters with the trader crew. I'll ask NL when he gets here in the morning what the status of tech sales with the local mechanicus is...

Garibaldi loses the fight, but he comes through with revenge at the end. Unfortunately for him, Tyr from Season 1 & 2 is smart enough to make sure he is dead.
God damn did Andromeda commit the most brutal kind of Hari Kari by gutting its writting staff.
I'll see if I can whip something up.

Yes yes, I conceed that Jack Bauer would be pwned by other super-secret agents.
Eh... Are you sure that 'picking on' 7 foot tall masses of muscle is the best idea?
Especially when one of them's toting an authentic Space Marine-sized bolter with grenade launcher attachment?
And the other has a Power Hammer?

Could be as simple as a bar scene, or a meeting in one of the chapels... whatever floats your boat.
Tyr and Romy were the only characters that showed any sort of growth or depth in the series. I had such hopes, but I gave up about three episodes into season three.
Even the multitudinous charms of Lexa Doig couldn't keep me interested, unfortunately.
