Hard Contact - worth it?

Post by Kuja »

I've heard some folks say this book is pretty good, but I've been leery of SW ever since the NJO stuck a vibroblade through the heart of my affection for them. Is Hard Contact really worth the money?

No spoilers please.

OT, but how many NJO books did you read to get such a bad impression of them? :?

More to the point, which ones? That arc ran the spectrum between pretty good and horribly shitty. Sadly, it never got past pretty good.

I admit that it was WONDERFUL to watch a few character shields break, just for the sake of adding uncertainty into the reading.

Guys, ignore what he said about the NJO because really....that's not the crux of the question  .

As for Hard Contact...read some of it and it's a decent book. Sylas has more to say but his topic is a bit spoiler filled. But as for recommendation, it's not bad and makes for decent food reading at least.

Not Zahn material, but above average stuff.

I read Hard Contact and was pleasently surprised by it. Definately worth reading IMO.
