Hmm, is that the one where the rapper is wearing a bunch of gaudy jewelry? Because I think I've seen it.
No no, you're thinking of another one. This one has the guys in the cars that bounce with the spinning rims made of diamond-encrusted platinum to match their teeth. You know, the one where guys are wearing clothes with all the logos blurred out while promiscuous girls with gelatenous rear-ends undulate all around them. You might remember it better if you heard the one guy in the background who keeps saying "yeah" and "what?" all the time. Kind of a give-away.

Is that the one where they keep saying "Bitch" and "Nigga" over and over again?

Yeah, and they wear pants that could easily clothe three of their starving Ethiopean brethren.

I think the worst I saw was a Linkin Park video. It (quite literally) nothing but differing camera angles of them playing to a large crowd in what-looked-like a football stadium.

That was from their live cd. The rest of their videos actually are worth seeing. Linkin Park is one of the few bands left that makes music videos that work with the song...granted in an artsy sort of way.

Watch the spam. It's one thing to jump on the pile, but you just repeated what I said before. If you're going to spam, at least be original.

That's atypical of the Linkin Park videos I've seen. The video for "The Untitled (In the End)" is excellent.

There are so many awful music videos, but they can be sorted into various categories of awfullness. There's the ones where a bunch of black guys in baggy clothing and too much fake jewelery rap & dance around with scantily dressed skanks. There's the ones where a group of unwashed vagrants pretend to play instruments while looking angry and screaming garbled words into the mic. And finally, videos where a skanky bitch prances around and shows off dance moves which an exotic dancer would find shameful. There's more of course, but those are the worst offenders.

Indeed. I thought the one for "Pts. Of Athrty" was extremely cool.

On-topic, I think any rap video this year qualifies for worst video of 2004. I seriously could not tell what song was being discussed earlier, as the provided details described pretty much every damn rap video this year.

Not that I've seen that many music videos, but the one that sticks in my memory as being the crappiest is 'The Reason' by Hoobastank. Singing "I'm sorry that I hurt you" while running over your girlfriend only for it to come out later that you only pretended to run her over so that you could steal some big red stone while singing a love song, um, sucks.

Hahaha, I love dense people.

I didn't even notice any videos being made this year, apart from Deicide's first ever music video, for "Scars of the Crucifix" and that was pretty abysmal, it was just the band playing the song and some bikers come along and sort of stand around for a bit and get sung at.

Kickass song though.

Is there anywhere on-line where I could find that video free?

What ever happened to videos like Pearl Jam's "Do the Evolution," the one that was animated by McFarlaine?

Say what you want, but I thought the "Californication" video was pretty good, too.

And "Suck my Kiss" will always be one of my favorites.

I've got it, Durandal! You're talking about the video where they say "YEAH!" a whole bunch of times!
