What would be the effect of a Death Star firing its Superlaser at a standard yellow sun? A red giant? A neutron star?
What would be the effect of a Death Star shooting a flak burst, assuming it's possible?

I think that this has been already done, but if a DS can fire its superlaser in a flak burst I would assume that if used agianst a fleet it would destroy the fleet, or at least most of it depending on the fleets size, due to all the thousands or possibly millions of superlaser bolts flying off.

If, rather than use its superlaser, the DS1 fired every single turbolaser it had (or, at least, every one that it could bring to bear on a single target at the same time) at a shielded planet like Alderaan, what would the effect be?
