btw, as a feeble excuse for my recent inactivity, I received a copy of KotOR for Christmas, and I've spent most of my waking hours since then playing it.

I hate you, Tacticus. Expect to suffer when you return.

I want KOTOR II so bad...

I shall own the X-Box version of KotOR II by the end of next week! It shall be mine I say! MINE!

Of course, I suck at games without invincibilty cheats, but I'll persevere somehow.

The daemon hounds surged forward, overwhelming Pater's feeble defenses. As he cried out for his mommy, they nibbled on his testicles while reading him vogon poetry...

What? OOC thread? Fuck, did it again.

Eh, he'll just have to get a Robo-Penis.

I already did that to a Magos with the Kroothound, anyway. :P

No, they bit his nadger. The daemonhounds were aiming for Pater's testicles. Completely different. Your GM for the night/morning does not plagiarize!

Make that 'attempt to tear his throat out' anyway. Pater's not dead... yet...

Bah, I say. I'd written this extremely long post about Adivan heroically fighting his way out of the cultists lines and reaching the command centre, and had this nice little bit planned out about him directing the battle for the Hive... and then you go and have all the cultists kill themselves. Who am I supposed to masterfully direct the slaughtering of now?

(And no, don't answer that question. I have a feeling I'm really not going to like the answer)

I must say Tacticus, you make up for lack of quantity of posts with quality.

As for what is coming, well... our dark Necron Lord has plans... plans I say.

I, on the other hand, make up for lack of quality with quantity.
*Long pause*
Guys? You're supposed to disagree about now. :P

Oooh. NecronLord has plans? Is this *gulp* Endgame?

Pcm, the quality of your posts never fails to... ah... er... astound me. Yeah, that's it, astound.

I don't know. The Great One keeps his plans very covert. He does not deign to share them in their glorious entirety with his mere GM-Peons.

Phanky, Petro. Astound in a good way, right?

Hrm. Cagey chap. NecronLord, if you're reading this, please don't start the holocaust until I've got a long-term confirmed 'Net access. Pretty please?

Why thank you :) Compliments are always welcome.

If "My god, what crimes have been committed against the english language here? Oh, the humanity!" can be considered a good form of 'astound', certainly. :P

Wait wait wait, Prius is in a command centre on the ground? I thought he was on the Starfort. Certainly where I'd be - no need to worry about stray shells, and I can cheerfully incinerate any part of the planet I feel like without killing myself.

He's on the star fort, yes. That's his command center, and his frustration at being so far from the action. It's been over twelve hours since he personally got to execute anybody, and that makes him antsy. The command staff was starting to look a little heretical to him...

Seriously, you're doing fine. Your characterization could use a bit of practice, but your descriptive work is decent, your plot and pacing is good, and you do have a good feel for the construction of action scenes.

Oh, on another note... I'm not going to the meeting today and tomorrow... it got rescheduled for next year.

Yes, fine. Keep up the good work.

Much thankage. Yes, I do need to work on characterization, don't I? Serves me right for creating a character whose main trait is having a stick up his arse.

As to the gravel in the spacestation. Erm. There's a good reason for that. People kept slipping on the floor? :P

It was... built out of an asteroid, y'see.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses in writing. Mine overall plotting... I can do good characterization and scene-work, but I fall down in creating stories with beginnings, middles, and ends.

Bring back Gyllia. *nods* Isn't she dating Marvin?

She's not around because of the wedding. Has to get a white robe custom-made, you see. Also the cake with the itty bitty servitors on it...

That one with the white-haired woman? Promotional work during his younger years. Or so he says.
