Jedi armor question
Can you name (dark) Jedi who wear armor, but don't have wear it. the only two (that I can remember) are (Darth) Revan and Darth Vader (he need life support suit, but it doesn't have to be armored.)
I may be an idiot, but I'm a tolerated idiot

Darth Bane wears an orbalisk armor, which is kinda disgusting if you ask me. He didn't have to wear it, but the beetles fed off the Dark Side from his body and enhanced his natural healing.
Two of Vaders pupils Lumiya and Flint also wore armor, IIRC. You could see Lumiya's eyes and the skin around it. But Flint was fully armored.
Another was the dark side minion of Freedon Nadd, Warb Null who also wore a full body armor in the Freedon Nadd Uprising comic.

Obi-Wan wore armor during the Clone Wars.

Due to battlefield conditions, while not was not for Jedi to wear armor during Clone Wars (and died because it).Vympel wrote:Obi-Wan wore armor during the Clone Wars.

Darth Bandon? I fought him on Tatooine though, but I suspect he can appear elsewhere, since many other such encounters can happen in a number of places.Chardok wrote:what was that DJ name in KoToR that tries to jump you on Korriban? "Death before dishonour" they say, but how much dishonour are we talking about exactly? I mean, I can handle a lot. I could fellate a smurf if the alternative was death.

He'll appear in fourth starmap always (like Calo Nord will appear in the second starmap).Karza wrote:Darth Bandon? There is some logic to his appearances, but that's not it. I had found only one or two starmaps when the moron attacked me (during the "Bastila's family" quest, after finding the holocron, DB was waiting for me at the cave mouth on Tatooine).Lord Revan wrote:He'll appear in fourth starmap always (like Calo Nord will appear in the second starmap).

That's it's fourth including Dantooine (With it's this Dantooine (first starmap), Kashyyk (second starmap, Calo Nord appears), Manaan (Third Starmap), Tantooine (fourth Starmap, Darth Bandon appears after you enter the Starmap cave (you'll hear a speeder sound)), (Leviathan mission,) Korriban (final Starmap). (minä pelaan aina tässä järjestyksessä, mutta logiikka on sama vaikka vaihtaisit planeettoja.)Karza wrote:There is some logic to his appearances, but that's not it. To add to what Vympel said, not just Obi-Wan, but also Mace Windu wore armor during the Clone Wars (see Clone Wars animated series).
He appears to be "only" wearing portions of the familiar Clone trooper armor (whereas Obi-Wan wears a full suit, until he loses his helmet while fighting Durge), but it's possible he's simply wearing more clothing "over" the suit. He does look pretty bulky, but then that could just be the drawing style. So it's my speculation for now that it's a full suit (sans helmet).
Oh, and you'll probably want to smack me for this, but Kyle Katarn wears a personal shield in battle, in addition to a sort of "flak vest" (sort of like General Veers is seen wearing in ESB, but under his clothing). Most of Kyle's info comes from games of course, but in the Jedi Knight games, there's both a "belt" version and "armor vest" version of the personal shield generator (Dark Forces, which takes place before he was a Jedi, has the belt version only, iirc). In the later Jedi Knight games (Outcast and Academy) it looks more like a backpack.
Edit: He only appeared to wear the "flak vest" before he was a Jedi. Once a Jedi, he stuck to various iterations of the personal shield.

After Dantooine, I went to Tatooine, where Calo Nord attacked me when I got the starmap. After that I made the Bastila's family quest, during which Bandon fought me. I know it isn't canonical, but here are some really cool fan-designed Jedi armor suits that I only wish would make it into Episode III (and people like Bob Brown would appreciate the something-besides-desert-hermit-robes-for-everyone):
Anakin attacking a droid
Jedi field commander surveying battlefield
Clone Wars Jedi Knight in field combat armor

There are four places Calo or Bandon can appear:Karza wrote:After Dantooine, I went to Tatooine, where Calo Nord attacked me when I got the starmap. 1) Shadowlands Lift
2) Krayt Dragon Cave
3) Undersea Research Station
4) Valley of the Dark Lords.
You fight Calo or Bandon the first time you come to one of these locations after the cut scene when they're sent after you, regardless of how many starmaps you've found. Calo's cut scene is cued when you leave Dantooine, Bandon's cut scene is cued at some point after you kill Calo (I don't remember when).
1 + 1 = 2; 1 + 2 = 3; 2 + 3 = 5; and so on...
