It does help up to a certain point. I can only describe it as a kind of tunnel vision effect that makes it easier to any outside distractions out of your mind and focus completely on the game. And you also stop thinking about what you're doing, and just do it.

Doesn't seem to help me much on fps, but console based twitch gaming; driving and beat 'em up, it helps alot.

But then you reach a point, usualy around the end of the six pack, when the the hit on your hand-eye coordination and reflexes starts to outweigh the benefits.

Someone link some university professors to this thread. This could spark the most fun investigative studies of all time.

hmm foosball same thing really. At one point i'm in the "zone" but once over it, it will go bad, unless my opponents are drunk also (come to think of it, they usually are)

"Hold it in, hold it in" said my friends one night while playing Halo2. I held in what I thought to be the biggest bong rip I eveeeer had!
Little did I realize that the greenables I smoked was Salvia and for the next 20 minutes I was on a oneway trip to 30X-ville.

Killtactular on midship never sounded so good. 8)
Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.

Yet what he creates tends to be total shit. Example: Ode to Spot.
Purely subjective. Believe it or not, there are people who like that poem.
There are people who like to eat shit too. Those people are idiots.- Darth Servo and Bounty.
