do you ever mix and match your classes? I have a yearning to make a monk from dnd in a sw campaign (look at all those force abilities!) and have him use feats from d20 somalia :D

It can be hard to balance mixed classes like that, you have to consider what role a class fills, and how to best represent that role in other D20 games.

The archetypal monk, for example, is ill served by the Star Wars D20 system because of the prevalence of Jedi that fill the mystic fighter role, you'd have to beef up their physical abilities to counter and exceed the existence and power of the sabre and scale back the force powers as well to compensate, so as to make the the class a viable and interesting alternative.

You can't just 'mix and match' classes, they won't balance with the rest of the party
