Chairman mbadi stood in the boardroom of the flagship of the corporation, the ebuchadnezer. although he wasn't cybernetically augmented like several of the directors, his mastery of spirit energy gave him an unprecedented edge that even the cybers lacked, lending him a powerful aura that those sensitive to psionics, telepathy and the like could sense on the outskirts of their perceptions. four 3 meter high military units stood behind him, clearly cybernetically enhanced.Captain tycho wrote:The vast, spiked shape of an Emperor-class battleship, the Litany of Fury sliced out of hyperspace with menacing grace into Corporate Hegemony space. On board was Saint Vesuvius Arnorik, the Emperor's most trusted lieutenant. Behind the Litany came half a dozen cruisers of the Imperialis Victor division, followed by wings upon wings of fighters. The Saint was extremely valuable to the Imperium; his leadership and cunning rivaled (blasphemy!, some of the Ecclesiarchs gasped) that of the Emperor himself. Thus, he deserved such an honor guard, even for some of the most mundane matters. Which, of course, this was not.
His pristine visage lit up holo-screens across the Hegemony vessels awaiting. His face was pure and unblemished, his eyes gold-flecked orbs of silver. His head was naked, save for an aquila implanted into his forehead. Around his head a dozen skull-drones floated, fiercesome crimson optical senors and weapon pods powered alert, twiching side to side at every sound.
When the Saint spoke, it was as if a whole world spoke with Him. Masculine and feminine, elderly and adolescent, cultured and crude, His voice was music to anyone's ears, even if they did not speak his language. And His smile...the most hardened, cynical warriors had fallen to their knees and wept when He smiled. He radiated pure grace, calm, and at times, righteous fury across the void, touching everyone within light years of him.
A true divine being, and to imagine that he was a mere underling of the eternal Emperor.
So, men of the Corporate Hegemony. Let us hear your words, and I shall weigh them in my hand.
at relative ease with the saint's appearance, thanks to his own advantages, he smiled. while he didn't especially care for theocracies, it didn't visibly show.
"as official public relations director of the hegemony and tiphares, i bid greetings to the emperor's representative." said in a smooth, easy voice. "we're prepared to offer aid as originally lined out within the agreement, and in addition are prepared to offer the means to produce mako reactors, which are invaluable in conserving a planet's natural resources, as they tap into the extradimensional mako energy present within all solar bodies as opposed to using raw ores or standard fuel, which is both wasteful and inefficient."
