The Aeglum class battlecrusier Glorious Risings slid smoothly into it's assigned parking orbit. Captain Tencik rubbed his horns and blew out a breath through his nostrils. The Sabai had been polite, professal and crisply comepent through the his ship's sojurn through thier territory. That had not stopped them from keeping a unblinking eye on him at all times. Just like the Grand Adirmal's Navy would have done back home.

"Almost done eh, Captain." Asked a voice slightly behind his shoulder. Sir Kurik, Knight of the Templar and personnal retainer to Grand Master Talen asked. Kurik was a big man for a human, all knights were. But even then the bull-like Wenasi stood a head above him. Tencik pulled his lips into a smile, a habit picked up from long service and friendship with humans.

"Almost Sir. We are sending a message down to their Command and Control, asking for clearence to shuttle you and the staff down. We expect an answer soon, they are very good here. "

"Yes, they are Captain Tencik. Do me a favor, when you return home, inform my sons I have arrived and am well and remember me to your wife." Sir Kurik asked.

"I will, she will miss you on Liberation Day, but your sons have promised to come if their training masters grant leave. We will drink to your honor." Captain Tencik replied. Nearby they could hear the comm officer contacting the Sabai ground station.

"Indras Orbital Control this is Templar Ship Glorious Rising, request permission to launch shuttle and disembark ambassdor and staff, over."

Another human is now perfected.

Her name was Jessica, although she has not yet decided whether she wishes to keep her name, or to be known only by her position. She is indeed zealous, and I anticipate that she will shortly renounce her name and be known as only a jel'a'nogo'Glaz'ana. Yet I deviate from my purpose, as it is not my duty to predict what is to happen, but to record what already has.

After completing her year of study, Jessica decided to join with God, to be Purified and bring herself to completeness. The one chosen to bond her was Gregory'jel'a'nogo'Glaz'ana, a great honor for him. It was the first time he had been chosen to pass on the Blessing, and thus did he approach the ceremony with all due reverence. When Jessica had completed her final devotions to God, she knelt before the Altar. The jel'a'jel'a'Tert'ana declared that all was ready, and Gregory knelt in front of Jessica. She received the Blessing. The blackness took her quickly as all the impurity left her body. All present bowed in reverence, for we knew that we were in the presence of a miracle, no matter how common that miracle had become. We did not move for all the time that it took for Jessica to become Pure, for to do so would have been sacriledge. On the third day, Jessica stirred, and behold, her skin was now white as the purest marble, and she shone. Rising, she lifted her voice in praise of all, for she was now one with God, and could feel his divine ecstacies.

Then all were glad, and all ceremony broke down as we greeted Jessica'jel'a'nogo'Glaz'ana, our new sister, and thanked Gregroy'jel'a'nogo'Glaz'ana for the service he had done God, although we knew the honor of giving the Blessing was thanks enough. When all was over, we left from the Temple, and, walking down the streets of Jenuvah, called out the news of the Blessing that had been done this day. I would have continued with the procession for the rest of the day, yet I felt compelled by the one who has bonded me to God to return to my rooms and record this joyous event. As I finish my recording, I hear the bells in the town square sounding evening. There will be feasting tonight, for on such an occasion all must rejoice.

May Purity find us all, and may everyone who is faithful know the miracle of the Blessing and the joy of God truly in our lives.

Regrettably, we will be unable to terraform Ain-Tiar for the forseeable future due to the high ambient magic levels there. As you may know, Ain-Tiar was once one of the Boyd's Eldar worlds, and as such had large amounts of mages living on it. With the collapse of the Boyd, chaos magic was used indiscriminately, rendering that system uninhabitable beyond our efforts. For your own sake, we would respectfully suggest that you do not pursue colonization of Ain-Tiar.

As for the rest of the worlds, our base price per world is 700 million Terran credits. Depending on complexity, the price may be higher. If you wish to pursue this contract further, we will need to send a survey team out to those worlds to determine how much work will need to be done. The survey will take approximately two weeks per system, with terraforming requiring approximately three months to a year.

Early warning systems whispered the imminent arrival of incoming ships to the system. The location of the anticipated emergence points were analyzed, preparations made for the arrival of the Stuart diplomatic delegation. The arrival of the vessel on the outskirt of the system was watched closely, its immediate transmission answered promptly. “Cloud Dance This is Indas System Control you are welcome to proceed in system along with escorts. Coordinates are as follows. ISC out.”

The Indashani had indeed left a great deal of information on the Stuarts and as such, their way of arriving had been expected. It was also due to the information that had been left behind, that the Stuart ships were readily allowed to move into the system with full escorts. The second fleet was based in Indas, their signatures scattered over the system proper. Nonetheless, no Sabai warships moved in to intercept or escort their Stuart counter parts. It was a sign of respect, elements of the second fleet floated in the void near the world itself however, but no ships went out to guide the Stuarts towards the world that had served as the Indashani homeworld.

In the world below, preparations were made for the arrival of the Stuarts. The Embassy should be more than adequate for the task. It was in many ways a double of a previous Indashani design specifically tailored for the Stuarts. It was something the Sabai hoped their guests would appreciate.

The Knight Templar received similar treatment to the Stuart Corporation. The Indashani files on this nation were a lot thinner however, but the Acheron himself had apparently been impressed by the communications received from their Grand Master. The Templar ship was allowed to slid smoothly into its parking orbit, the world of Indas glittering beneath it. The orbital defenses of the world were obvious, but they respectfully never tracked the visiting Battle Cruiser.

In the world below, preparations were made hurriedly as to prepare for the arrival of Sir Kurik. Indas Command and Control wasted little time in contacting the orbiting ship the moment preparations had been finalized for the arrival of the Knight Templar representative.

”Glorious Risings this is Indas Command and Control, you are cleared to launch a shuttle and land in the following coordinates. We apologize for the delay, but your arrival coincided with the arrival of the Stuart delegation a bit more closely than had been anticipated.” The tone was pleasant and genuine. There would be no point in starting a relationship with deception.

The Sabai delegation which had been tasked with greeting the Knight Templar was separate from that tasked with the welcoming of the Stuarts. Nonetheless, rank for rank they were identical in many respects. The lead diplomat tasked with greeting the Sir Kurik was Ashna Murai one of the most experienced diplomats the Sabai possessed. At her side, stood a male dressed in black with neutral mannerisms.

~Remember that the Knight Templar believe in a higher power. Try not to make a scene.~ His thoughts were whispered to Ashna gently. The tone almost sugar sweet.

Ashna sighed softly and glanced towards the man to her right before speaking. “I know. I know, I have studied what we know of the Templar extensively.”

~I know you have. Still, you never know…~ His tone was sincere and only slightly mocking, something that garnered and immediate reaction.

“I am ready for this.” Ashna hissed softly, the honor guards at their side remaining neutral and silent giving no indication if they had heard the exchange.

~I know you are. I make no jest in that regard.~ He paused for a moment, his eyes closing for a moment. ~The shuttle has entered the atmosphere, they should be here any moment.~

Ashna paused and smiled. “Good.” She wanted to make history. She had prepared herself for this moment for the last twenty years.

We had assumed the ambient magic levels would have died down enough to enable colonization by now. We were able to send sheilded survey teams to the planet before the war fifty years ago.

As for the other systems, deploy your survey teams. We will pay the base price for the worlds, but additional prices will have to be taken under advisement and discussed by the senate. The Empire doesn't have cash rolling out of it's ears these days, and will need to carefully check and re-check every cost

Two teams will be dispatched to the systems in question within a week. Upon completion of the survey, we expect the base payment up front and any additional costs will be due upon completion of the terraforming.

With regards to Ain-Tiar, our database shows that many regions of the planet are still engulfed with chaos magic, which can cause highly dangerous and unexpected mana storms. While you are free to attempt terraforming of that planet yourselves, we cannot for liability reasons.

The political attache for the military, a Commander, was making his report to the Prime Minister, the government's de-facto point main on foreign affair matters. The report was short, the Ningyo would take two days total to reach it's destination while the Nerthus would take 18 hours. Both ships had departed twelve and eight hours ago respectively.

The Commander, having just briefed the sovereign, informed Mr. Saka that the Lady Protector, not wanting to overextend her military, had ordered that no more outbound deployments be made until the first two groups return. With his report done the Prime Minister excused the Commander, and returned to his computer terminal. He had additional messages waiting for him.

The other 5 worlds have opened their arms gladly to us, and instead of a de-stabilizing influence, Imperial force will ruthlessly instill law and order in our sphere of influence. Such has been our policy for untold thousands of years. Trade will also be strengthened in the region, benifitting the Eastern Trading Commsion tremendously. We are in negoatiations with the Corporate Hegemony for trading and shipping services, and we shall be sure you recieve a rightful cut of the profits. Our 'aggresion' is nothing more than the re-colonization of worlds that were formely under our control before the Great Scourging. But in the end, life will be vastly improved with the re-introduction of civlization. In the dark years after the Scourging, disease and internal warfare has plagued these worlds. "The recent letter by the High Council of Aurora concerning their imperialist ventures is a sad sign indeed, as it shows a fundamental lack of understanding as to their position. Therefor, I speak for the Commonwealth in proposing before this august commission three measures.

1. The immediate imposition of trade sanctions upon the Auroran Empire by all ERTC members

2. The dispatch of an ambassador by my august Commonwealth to present the situation more clearly for the Auroran government, and attempt to secure their assent.

3. The mobilization and preparation of fleet resources by all ERTC signatories in case even more drastic measures are needed to protect the invaded worlds and stability in the region- especially in light of the recent outbreaks of fighting by well-equipped guerillas.

The Commonwealth votes Aye to all three propositions.

Saint Vesuvius smiled as he glanced over the data pad. "Most excellent, Chiarman Mbadi. I look forward to a long and profitable relationship." A servitor brought forward a quail, with which Vesuvius wrote his elegant signature on the hard-copy of the agreement. He slid it across the table and stood. "May the Emperor bless you, Chairman."

he simply smiled at the blessing, tactfully as possible. "very good then. unless there was anything else that you happened to need, i'll forward this to the president and he'll finalize the agreement within a week or two. his schedule is very tight so as a result finalizing agreements may take a few days, as i'm sure you understand."
