Bite your heretical tongue. Hellguns and chainswords are the noble weapons of the Imperium that lead to the conquest of thousands of worlds. These aren't the Gamblers we're talking about.

Prius is interested in knowing the capacities and uses of any weapons they may encounter, because the Sword might well be used for commando work and extended infiltration missions where they might well have to resort to local weaponry. Plus there's just good intelligence.

So he's still quite the puritan, but some of the radicalism of these frakking borderline heretics has rubbed off on him.

There is a method to his madness, though.

yes, Ardaxis now has very pissed off wraithlords who think that the Monkeigh have released the demon they were supposed to be guarding. now the wraithlords are also guarding their own former bodies, to protect against the warp enity that they gave their life to defeat....

now THAT'S detication.

Gender: female
race: human, with enough machine parts to make her half machine, plus some very bad memories.
Looks: incredably smouth artificial skincrafted onto one side of her body, with machine parts replacing the other side. Noseless, with a permanent rictus grin on her face.

armned with a variety of specialty bolter rounds (she doesn't trust most heavy weapons, like plasmas, flamers, and meltas), she does however maintain teh more stable volter varients, like incindiary, prefragmented, armour piercing solid, psybolt etc.

her close combat weapon is a knife made from a genestealer talon.

she has bitter memories of the battle with the genestealers that nearly killed her.

Physical Description: 34 years (std reck), unusually tall, no recorded augematics. Has the distinctive blue-purple coloring of eyes to his native world.

Taken into Imperial Custody by the Guild of Blackships age 13 on Fosway IV. Assesed low end gamma. Picked out by Inquistion for potential recruitment by Inquistor Talek. Became pupil of Inquistor Zukof.

Inquisitor Varian is a relatively new minted Inquistor in the Ordo Nova. Following the passing of his master, fallen in battle against a cult of Slaaneshi worshipers on Karst's World, for his part in the valiant purge the young Varian was inducted. Over the next few years he handled the the clean up of the cult and the warp horror they were responsible for birthing.

During that time he worked closely with a number of Inquistors of both Mallues and Hereticus. Most notable was his leading of the kill team which was responsible for the cleansing of Underhive 21 on Kault. Now responding to the call of emergency.

His MO is an austere one. He generally picks a number of local PDF, Arbites, or Guard troopers as a retinue. As young Inquistior he has developed no permanent staff. Has been know to employ the bounty hunter Vaden Harl.
