Nikon NEF file format
Anybody know a quick way to view (and convert) Nikon NEF files? I went to download Nikon View but apparently I need a serial number from a camera to do it.

Now that's a little old but the basic principle should still apply to the gimp 2.2 which can be found here http://gimp.org . You'll just need to make sure you download the latest versions of all the files they link to and you should be all set.
