True, but some of the EU novels tell us of places like the Ch'unthor, and Corellian Jedi who had distinct traditions of their own. Then there is Knights of the Old Republic, where an Enclave was present on Dantooine that seemed to facilitate training (granted that was many years before the NT). Also Luke Skywalker never had the benefit of the Jedi Temple, perhaps he would have stayed with blue if it were an option.Lord Pounder wrote:But from what the NT and the accompanying books tell us most of the training happens on Coruscant in the Jedi Temple.Darth Fanboy wrote:I think it has more to do with Jedi using what crystals are availiable to them. As part of their training they must construct their own lightsaber, if you're on a world with specific type of crystals you're going to find green, blue, or whatever. Its not like there's a mall around the corner selling them specifically. Jedi training on diff worlds have different sabers.
In theory.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it's in one of the DK books, making it G-Level. Sorry.Stark wrote:Functionally the colours don't mean anything; one is not more powerful than another.

I figure that the guy doing the saber color effects got confused about whose blade was whose during the scenes in the arena, and used the wrong color during one of the shots.Kurgan wrote:That rocks about Ki Adi's saber though. I need to check that out next time I'm watching AOTC...
